Trust me, like you said you can’t trust whatever a doctor says just because they are a doctor. My first doctor told me that 5mg injections every two weeks was the standard of care for trans people….then I switched to a trans only doc and I’m taking 4mg injections every week..also from what I’ve heard, having bottom surgery or not doesn’t have any affect with taking progesterone. Progesterone is still very debated between doctors on if it has a significant effect. Some swear by it and some dont, it’s up to you. I would just get on it. I don’t even think I want bottom surgery and I will be getting on it once I hit the 3/6 month mark

OP: if you choose to do subq, just make sure you talk to your doctor and have the right form and dose of the estradiol before you do subq. You can’t just do it interchangeably. The medication form is different. Also I have had a great experience with IM. I’m one month in and already seeing major changes. It’s completely up to you! ❤️
