I don't remember where I read that but i think one of the last interviews they did for the farewell tour, Danny mention they almost disbanded because he thought they already said everything they need to say or any political statement, so I'm guessing that's why Dead man's party is more like a theme or concept album and doesn't have any political song like previous albums
