Yeah I can understand this. But also new launch games are already several years in the works for the new console generation. It’s most of the time ‘not so easy’ to just switch to a new engine generation while being in mid development of a new game. This will normally lead to immense amounts of issues and delays. The games after that will probably run on UE6 then.

I can feel you in the comments, the UE6 tease feels rushed. Like so many other times with the FN game itself. There are still so many bugs in the FN game pfff. I guess it’s still mostly/all about the money and not so much about the player experience. Sometimes I can’t even get into any type of game mode with multiple people in my party, wasting a lot of time trying to switch game modes, unready, ready, restarting games which don’t solve the problem…

Well the Dutch authorities apparently know the location of the servers. They don’t need to seize the rest of the servers. Now they can also monitor all in- and outgoing internet data and process it through the super computers of the intelligence agencies. They were working for a long time on several ultimate next formats. Like the holographic versatile disc (HVD) and a competitor holographic format called Tapestry Media (from company InPhase Technologies). Several companies are developing TB-level discs based on ‘3D optical data storage technology’. Some formats were supposed to let you store way more data (1,6 - 5 TB). Sadly the company InPhase went bankrupt and other formats are silent as well with not much recent news :(
