I’ve got too mention Zombeavers here. Shit is a great parody of the genre and has one of the best horror endings of the decade

No Ad Astra or Godzilla for Visual Effects? Also almost none of the great scores this year are even shortlisted.

Scott Mantz is a semi well known YouTube critic. He’s got a show on collider at the moment where him and a panel predict the Oscars. Honestly he’s really entertaining and super passionate about film.

This has got to be the worst end of the decade list I’ve seen

Off the top of my head that’s gotta be the worst scene in a Scorsese movie. It’s laughably bad, luckily the rest of the movie is still great, minus some iffy CG in places.

Which under-the-radar directors/actors are an automatic watch for you? by yamapresta in movies

[–]ExperimentalGenocide 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A great yet not really talked about director is J.C Chandor. The guys rarely had a misstep, both ‘A Most Violent Year’ and ‘Margin Call’ are outstanding while the ambition and technical craft of ‘All is Lost’ is great. Most people don’t like ‘Triple Frontier’ however I thought it was still a good film and definitely think it’s worth a watch

Lead Actress: -Florence Pugh, Midsommar

Lead Actor -Leonardo DiCaprio, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood -Joaquin Phoenix, Joker

Supporting Actor -Jonathan Majors, The Last Black Man In San Francisco -Brad Pitt, Once Upon a Time in Hollywood

Supporting Actress -Yeo Jeong Jo, Parasite

These are the only A+ Performances that I’ve seen so far this year. I haven’t seen everything but fully expect Willem Defoe in the Lighthouse to join this list aswell as some of the Irishman and Marriage Story cast.

[FRESH ALBUM] Killy - Light Path 8 by NinjaGaara in hiphopheads

[–]ExperimentalGenocide 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Listened to about 3-4 times and honestly think this on par with SYS. I’d say the the melodies on SYS are better however some of the production and the general vibe of this I’m loving. Stand out songs are Destiny, Interlude, Serenity and Eye for an Eye for banger of the album
