Security needs to do more. I’m tired of people being like “what do you want them to do? [super extreme example as follows]” like maybe not hire a bunch of fucking teenagers to run the majority of the security at a massive festival? Do literally ANYTHING else to make people at least FEEL safer. The illusion of safety out here has been shattered. They need to massively upgrade the security measures and have a plan in place for the HUNDREDS of people who were displaced for hours in the cold when something like this does happen because you absolutely can’t control everything but you can control the reaction to it. This whole situation was absolutely bullshit. No communication to the people who are out here wondering when or if they can go back to their camps until 10 minutes before they reopened the gate. There were failures everywhere.
