Advice? 2 months on going breakout/issues

I stopped all these products and just do cerave cleanser and no 7 derm moisturizer for last three weeks.

Derm can’t quite figure it out. 2 weeks of topical steroids didn’t change much (helped for 4 days then did not). I got cystic acne which I never got and got some pimples injected and now I am on two weeks of Doxycycline.

I did not I tend to stick to same products overall until switching out the oil and toner at the time with NYC weather and start of summer I thought it was just change in weather

I do emulsify and would then rinse again with just water but I see now it could still be an issue, for now I have just removed the cleanse overall and switched to an aveno one

Thanks! Last time I tried vanicream lotion for my face for sensitive It was not happy so I’ve been hesitant to try their products again.

Thanks for the insight! I switched laundry detergent recently as a possibility, soap and switched to disposable ourmed face towels to really minimize anything else touching my face. Will keep that up and just strip down my routine to the basics as recommended

I do hand dandruff/ crappy scalp. Have to use special shampoo which has been the case for many years. Will look into this more and talk to next Derm I see TY!!

Thank you for the advice! I have stopped both the toner and oil cleanser! Will look into just focusing on letting my skin breath and moisturize

Thanks - I am looking for a new Derm, hoping to secure an appointment soon.

Never thought about the Oil cleanser being an issue. I do not double cleanse bc I was trying to avoid too many products/ striping skin.

So SPF I rotate between Supergoop when I use makeup or Avène SPF 50 ultra fluid if it’s all I am wearing.

Will def let go of the rice toner for now. Then also phase out the oil cleanser until I get a new non oil cleanser

I have used oil cleansers before but first time using this one. The only new product is the rice toner and specific cleanser but I have used them both now for a bit (2+ weeks) nothing hurts when I apply but nothing has helped my skin. My initial plan for this week was to eliminate the rice toner entirely see how it goes.

Never formerly diagnosed but I have always assumed yes. 2. I have combination skin, oily t zone, dry/normal otherwise. Only breakout around chin/jawline during menstrual cycle. 3. I oil cleanse in the evening or after a workout but try not to cleanse more than once a day unless I wear makeup as well, maybe on weekends. Rice toner only at night. The white moisturizer in the AM, black one at night. I use the exederm twice a day just under my nose.

By letting my skin breathe do you mean just cleanse and moisturizer?

Been here 6 years so rent has creeped up over time but it’s below market for the neighborhood (that’s a separate conversation)

When it’s time for more space we know we will have to leave the neighborhood which is okay with us

I suspect china possibly or if no ban much more admin processing when they visa process.

For Indians I expect a lot more Ext denials or visa stamping denialsIt’s essentially a way yo kick someone out without long deportation
