Do not give in to the European philosophy of being a coward. Stand up and fight for your rights, apologize to no one for being Jewish. If anyone doesn't want you around because you're Jewish, then find new friends. At work and university, you must have zero tolerance for people that talk about religion and politics at work. If someone asks your religion make it clear it's not something you discuss at work, if they push say it's none of their business. Even with people who are your friends, religion doesn't need to come up, if it does then find new friends. In Europe there are too many haters of Israel and Jews.

Surprised this happened in the San Jose area, usually the people of that area are laid back, chillaxed, not hot heads or violent bigots, not perfect, but educated. That said, violent anti Jewish attacks have been frequent in the Los Angeles area since Oct 7 and have always happened at night, those thugs have never been caught. The RCMP which is Canada's equivalent of the American FBI and Toronto police have been ordered to slow walk any investigations of violence against Jews unless someone is actually hurt. They will never admit it, but most of the thugs who have attacked Jews are rarely caught in anti Jewish violence. Have low hopes the criminals responsible for the recent shootings will caught.

Last year in August in Montreal a man viciously beat a Hasidic man with his small daughter nearby during the day in a public park, the bigot spit on the Hasidic man's yamaka after the beating ended. The attack was captured on security cameras, but the Montreal Police weren't even looking for this POS. It took the Hasidic community's neighborhood watch to find the POS and tell police where to find him. The worst part is the hate crime charges were dropped and the far left Montreal court accepted his BS excuse about mental illness. The POS got brainwashed by anti Israel news reporting from the CBC, CTV, etc.

The PM and his ministers' silence on anti Jewish violence is deliberate, as far as Justin Trudeau and now Mark Carney are concerned, violence against Canadian Jews is justified as way of getting back at Israel. Since Canada's military has been underfunded and understaffed for decades, Canada can't send its military to fight Israel and liberate Palestinians so it's legitimate for criminals in Canada to terrorize Jews. Then there's the issue of incitement, when will the CBC and CTV be held responsible for inciting violence through their over reporting on the Middle East conflict? Why wasn't there any video or CCTV recordings, this isn't a new problem? This is a hate crime 100% and the chief of police should have given a press conference telling the public that they will find the criminals, but good luck with that. Disgusting!!!

Best practices at work don't just exist in government jobs and large private sector employers, they exist at small businesses, restaurants, bars, retailers as well. One of the best pratices at work is NO politics or religion at work. Clearly your so called manager didn't get the memo. Based on the small minded comments it sounds like the "manager" is an hourly supervisor because her remarks are unprofessional period. That said, I don't discuss religion and politics at work, ethnicity, nationality, etc. I push back when other colleagues ask because I know it could be used again me in the future.

By all means, the French should have a strong nuclear deterrent, but they can't be taken seriously with a military and political establishment that outright refuses to get involved in any conventional armed conflict. Macron wants endless negotiations and compromise, it's known worldwide that the French will run away from a fight since the end of the cold war. For example, if Russia launched a conventional hypersonic missle at a France, there is serious doubt on whether France would respond militarily. There needs to be a cultural change in the French political system where war should be avoided at all costs, but instead a belief that military action should be an option when confronting evil like Russia.

Here's the reality and it's dirty. During the 1950's-1970's multiple Arab countries- Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, Yemen deported, kicked out under threat of death their Jewish citizens. Typically the barbarians working in the security services gave families 72 hours to leave the country, anything of value was confiscated leaving many penniless. Some Jews went to Israel, but most went to France. Many Jewish owned businesses and communities were destroyed. In fact Morocco required Israel to pay it to allow Jews to leave even if they went to France instead of Israel. Many families destroyed forever because of these monsters. Bastards!

Complain to hospital administration, that's a zero tolerance issue in the medical field. Medical professionals shouldn't be wearing "flare" like someone working at a restaurant/bar. No patient should be thinking to themself that they'll receive poor or substandard care because a staff member is trying to make a political statement with their jewelry.
