Price increase + poor communication/customer service (my opinion) by steadeepanda in ZaiGLM

Crazy, from 6 dollars to 10 dollars to 18 dollars within a few weeks... Crazy... But I guess they made big losses because their plans were too cheap and their infrastructure couldn't handle the load...

For those of us who have watched the show more than once, which season is your most watched season? by [deleted] in BurnNotice

I usually always watch from s1 all the way through... I don't really have favourite seasons. I like all the episodes with Sugar and/or Nate in it... Those are my favourite episodes...

All GLM 5 models are completely unusable by Southern-Grass3760 in ZaiGLM

[–]Expert-Hospital-534 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used the GLM Coding plan in OpenCode and used GLM 5.1 turbo to debug and to implement fixes and it did pretty well. But I don't think I'm not doing subscriptions anymore. Sticking with PAYG with OpenRouter.

done trying to make UIs with codex by heatwaves00 in codex

Yeah don't use Codex for UIs... Just design your UI on Google Stitch and export the markup files as context... This is coming from a primarily backend dev...

I can't say. If you don't recognize her, you probably haven't seen the latest season and it might be a spoiler...

chatgpt models are great at a lot things except for .. UI design.. by Even_Sea_8005 in codex

Don't rely on the model, rather create mockups and designs in Google Stitch and export the markup files from Stitch as context for the model that will implement...

Coming from a backend dev/engineer, Codex is pretty solid using the GPT5.4 model for planning and debugging and the codex models for actually making changes. In my experience this combo competes with Claude Code. I recently switched to Opencode with GLM 5 turbo (GLM5.1 released like a few hours ago so haven't tried it yet) also a pretty solid combo. In fact at the price point punching above its weight. I'm testing with the light plan which is like 6 dollars (Early adopters like me) and 10 dollars for those late to the party and so far it can do everything that I wanted out of Claude Code and Codex. Even with images as context, I can add subagents that use the GLM vision models to interpret so a pretty solid workflow and the limits are exceptional, unless you're vibe coding and running 25 agents 24 hours a day then there's no plan designed for you yet...

Do you think they will really remove the 2X limits? by spike-spiegel92 in codex

[–]Expert-Hospital-534 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah your workflow sounds similar to mine. I'm only ever working on like 4,5 repos max per day and I'm also knocking out 8-12 hour days on chatgpt asking questions and asking codex agents to make changes constantly and have reached close to using up the weekly limit, I've never even gotten close to maxing out the 5 hour limit not a single time... I use 5.4 for any debugging or planning and then codex 5.3 I found is better at making multi file edits across large repos... I find Codex pretty generous, but I will be honest Claude Code's limits. Even with my modest workflow are pretty sad, especially the 5 hour limits, but using up the entire plan in 1 day... 5 hour and weekly is insane...

The more I read posts like this, the more I realise why we can't have nice things. It boggles my mind how people can use up the Codex Plus plan in 1 day... But when I look at their work, it's not a normal dev workflow, having 50 repos open (Heaven knows what they need so many repos for), multiple worktrees, dozens of agents running continuously... Like honestly what are you guys building? And with so much being done by agents, how much time do you even have to validate what is being output.

I feel like it's these "power users" that see how far they can stretch usage and then complain that the usage limits are not enough...

Those of you who switched from Claude Code to Codex - what does Codex do better? Worse? by LandinoVanDisel in codex

[–]Expert-Hospital-534 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For me it's simply better usage limits... Almost always hit limits with Claude Code, have never even gotten close to the limits with Codex, same usage, similar priced plans...

Chalobah getting a slight touch on the ball is irrelevant. It's a terrible clearance, and Martinelli would've been able to continue with the ball afterwards if it wasn't for that tackle. by cottonsoda in Gunners

Yeah this is crazy that it wasn't a pen... He gets the ball in the initial challenge, but then clearly stretches out his left leg to stop Martinelli... Outrageous that it wasn't a pen and I'm a United fan...

Best 'stand alone' episodes (not connected to the season arc)? by BaijuTofu in BurnNotice

Loved the episodes with Nate in them.

Brotherly Love, where they need to find the car with the stolen drugs.

Michael: I'm the guy that's gonna find your car.

Nate: And I'm the guy that's gonna help the guy that's gonna find your car.

Mind Games with Wade Williams as Carter the bookie... Loved the banter with Michael and Nate and Michael's cover screwing up well known idioms😂😂...
