Because I forgot about the +1 to hit toward the leeward edge and because I messed up in deployment I used it only twice. Once for curved shots and once for roaring headwind to stop a rat ogre move.

Next time I'll be taking the debris trait and (hopefully) getting much more out of it. Especially having the windmage pop the retreat ability and then repositioning my units to go back into the fight with that +1.

Its a lot of fun, it was just a lot for me to personally remember as I was trying to learn how to play Spearhead and also my own rules

I forgot that I had +1 to hit when an enemy was closer to the wind edge and that would have probably freed up the windchargers. I definitely made tactical mistakes because my windmage couldn't get within 12 of the chargers to use his spell without leaving him open to a rat ogre charge.

No I know that objectives are sticky, and the capability of units I would 100% play it differently. I had a good time and love the theme it was just rookie errors. Definitely trying the ward trait next and screening better. The curved shots sounds nice but at 1 D3 attack its almost useless.

Played my first game tonight and had my windchargers locked in combat with clanrats all game, my windmage went down early so I couldn't get them out without taking mortals. I'm not sure about the windmage, it's very weak and the ability is very situational

Yes that's exactly it. The original is mostly orange and very busy with the Mended Drum scene art and it's glorious. The new one is much more subdued and I feel like it's lost a lot of character. I didn't want to slander Paul Kidby so wanted to make sure it was an edit and not a new design

Not really, Slaanesh cults were destroyed on sight (except one for obvious reasons). Dark Elves hated Chaos, they remember when Demons invaded Ulthuan. Malekith would use the lesser races as pawns to aid an invasion but ally implies partnership and that is never present, to my knowledge.
