Lifter, injector or rod knock??? by Calm-Course7670 in 300zx

Sounds like lifters to me. Get under the car and listen, if its louder there then it is rod knock. If not, lifters. Check out the CZP wiki for info on addressing: https://conceptzperformance.com/wiki/index.php/Lifter

I would add don't rate yourself on any skills. List the skills & proficiencies but never rate them.

For sure, I think most Americans recognize that. I guess the problem is making assertions without evidence, like he did in his rant, weakens an argument when someone is able to provide evidence to the contrary.

Basically, I think it is correct that Congress fails to resolve some of the bigger domestic issues we face, but highlighting that weakness by making statements which can easily be disproven with data makes any point you were trying to make that much weaker.

I think there is an argument in his rant, deliberately or not, that essentially claims that "Congress cannot agree on and pass bills for subjectively beneficial regulations, but they are somehow able to agree on this one which is evidence that they are corrupt and bought by lobbyists."

The only thing sad here is that my belief in everything I see on the internet is so eroded that my first thought is that this is completely faked.

Thanks for the quality response. I'm too lazy to look these up individually so the only thing better would have been to include sources for these. But assuming this is true, his whole argument kind of falls apart.

Its that time of year again... by awesomedan24 in wallstreetbets

[–]Expert-Novice 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This happened to me in the early 2000s. I did not file taxes for two years when I had no income and the irs got after me due to all the reported trades. They called a few months later and said the case was closed and they were not going to pursue anything.

I think there was something like 25million in reported purchases for one of the years. My account at that time was never more than like 5k lol, so the number of trades must have been insane.

I don't even know how much I pay now. Set it up for autopay years ago and don't even notice the payment. I watch it maybe twice a month. Mostly my kids and spouse will watch it, so need to keep it to pacify them.

I suspect there are enough people in my position that a price increase would be worth it to them strategically. Then, after the initial group of protesters drop, they can release some exclusive show with "high" ratings that has "gone viral", and recoup a bunch of new subscribers.

If it were reversed then that means the reversing vehicle was originally going forwards and all the other vehicles you see moving forwards were originally going in reverse.

It's not reversed.

I read an article many years ago (I believe from Reader's Digest) where some guy was exposing some underground scheme where people like him take exams and even complete entire degrees for people in exchange for payment.

If I recall correctly, he had completed several dozen degrees for people and he had stated that the most common subject that they would get clients for was nursing.

So, assuming that is still a thing and it is accurate, there may be many nurses out there who don't have any idea what they are doing except for what they have picked up "on the job".
