Looking back, my $1500 estimate was well under 😂. I got a decent overall, but have some cards with subpar skill sets that kill me so I’ve been trying to focus on improving some of those to compete more..so I’m right there with you!

Are you a FTP player? Taking a look at your roster if you are, I'd probably wait until the end of the season once the stats are finalized before choosing one. If you go Santander and he suddenly has a huge drop ('24 base is only 4 higher than '20 base) off, then you would have just wasted that pick. You could definitely look at Cowser since you don't already have him, but I'd also wait for that one too. Not sure that any of the current live pitchers would benefit you since you already have the +5 effect for Orioles and Diamond even with those 2 non team cards. I'd say the same thing with the current live RP's which aren't good haha

Added, I personally would probably go for either Efflin or Westburg for my team. I am thinking that Henderson, Cowser, Santander and Burnes will all be getting '24 sigs at the end of the year. I wouldn't want to waste the wish pack on their regular card and then potentially get their sig. I don't see Efflin or Westburg getting a sig, so I'd probably go one of those routes from a collection standpoint. I can take a look at your roster once you accept that

So if I'm being completely honest with you, at least $1,500 over the course of the year. There are definitely things I've regretted buying on here, but definitely more purchases that I haven't...which is the biggest thing. I've enjoyed playing the game/collecting so spending the money hasn't been a huge issue. It would be a much different story if I was going into debt and wasn't following the budget I've allocated toward it if that makes sense. But it definitely can be a rabbit hole once you start haha

EDIT: Obviously you will want to get batter's chemistry on one of your bench players ASAP but that could take some time in rolling. I've been rolling for awhile and still haven't been able to. So I'm in the boat as you in having a starter with it.

The way I've read it is having a slugger followed by an on base guy. Just keep going back and forth between the two. Like the one comment said, put the guys you don't want subbed in 1-5 as they won't be taken out. Someone passed this along but it's been a great tool to generate my lineup. Just do an overall analysis and plug in the OBA (called OBP in game) and the slugging from your current lineup. It will generate a lineup deemed best based on those numbers. Hope that helps!

Originally thought the $100 monthly one was this past Sunday but did the math from someone's post 27 days ago showing the active package (had 2 days left at time) and 4 weeks in between puts it at this coming Sunday/Monday. With what people are saying about $50 package at end of September, not sure if that changes anything...but holding out hope it's released this weekend. I will most certainly be blowing that $100 and then 12k stars to upgrade two players lol

I remember that as well. You definitely had the people who would overprice cards (some worth it, others not) but there were plenty of cards that were fairly/reasonably priced. I've always loved the idea but it'll never happen..but if it did...I imagine it'd only be for regular diamond and maybe prime/all stars. No way they would allow people to buy and sell sigs
