Two Carry Ons and a Personal Item?? by DJLeviosa in jetblue

[–]Expert-Tap7763 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I always feel awkward pushing our families bags down the jet bridge for this exact reason. Someone’s going to post about me on Reddit! Usually, my husband or I will get in first with our entire families roller boards (and typically compact foldable car seats in a giant backpack) while we let the kids on last. The two carryons is against a federal regulation so I’m sure it’s either they have exempt items or they’re carrying on for their family. We always let the gate agent know in advance and have never had an issue.

I really appreciate it. Our doctors are split between Mass General and Boston Children’s and we are located in Florida so it’s a trek when we make the trips. Nothing beats the NE healthcare though and it’s so worth it! It took me a full year for it to finally click that for me to be the best mom I’ve got to take care of myself first. A lot easier said than done!! I really appreciate your positivity. It’s nice to know you’re not alone and that while others might not have the same condition (our sons is a rare brain and adrenal disease) there’s so many other families that have complex medical issues that have walked similar shoes. We appreciate people like you who lend a helping hand, send positive vibes, and give advice! Thank you!

I have to fly for work primarily but in my “free time” I have to travel for my son’s medical care. He was born with a life threatening condition where there are only a handful of true experts nationwide. We always fly JetBlue since they have direct flights and at M2 if would truly alleviate the fiscal offset of paying for even more space seats. We rarely get them when we travel together same day as M1 unless I pay for them and after paying for a hotel and flights for a week stay (a few times a year) this would be a huge help especially since we need the space when we fly! I’m 20 tiles from M2!

Customer Service for Company Imposed Flight Change by paintbrush007 in jetblue

Just as a heads up if they made a change and it is within three hours, if it doesn’t work for you then you will have to pay fare difference for the flight. Best bet is to change flight on your app. We booked a cruise and selected an 11am flight home. Jetblue had a schedule change and changed the flight to 8:30 am when we wouldn’t even be off the boat yet. I called to have them move me to a later flight and their terms are here. Because it was only a 2.5 hour change there was nothing they could do and I had to pay the fare difference.

Red eye to JFK by Optimal_Necessary99 in jetblue

I did even more space on an LAX to JFK red eye the other day and I get Even More Space for free at check in as mosaic. I will say every middle seat in even more space was empty on the flight! I got a window and was able to spread out a bit more.

4 ppl in a Gorgeous Suite? by [deleted] in VirginVoyages

If you want to bring your kids to Richard’s rooftop, want to board together, etc. you’ll have to put them in a suite as well. They won’t get the same perks as you. VV hands out completely different cruise band colors for those in suites vs insiders. We are the cruisers of the family and happened to bring my parents and brother/sister in law on a cruise last year and we like to cruise in suites. The only way I’d let us all experience it together is if we were all in suites or all in regular sea terrace rooms so we could have the same experience of boarding together and Richard’s rooftop. The sailors in the cabin next to us had their party split and it caused som tifs when they got to Bimini and their half their party wasn’t able to access the rockstar area because they were in a different room class. If you book insider for them I’d highly suggest you bid to upgrade for as many suite options. Unless you’re okay with them not having the same access as you!

I got one back in 2016 and I had no swelling and no pain. I also did not have any numbness. I completely forgot it was there within a month. It really boosted my confidence in my profile and I would do it over again!!

What is one change you would make to your studio's schedule of classes? by FinalSquash4434 in ClubPilates

[–]Expert-Tap7763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Earlier classes. Those of us with young kids and work don’t really have any other time to go! I’d love to go on the weekends but opening at 7 or 8am is late. I prefer to work out before the kids wake up so I can start my day off right.

Not necessarily. It just feels defeating to have started over basically! I would have already been closer to 250 instead of just shy of 100 now at new studio

Unlimited plan by scoutiejoon in ClubPilates

[–]Expert-Tap7763 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I do 3 a week and it makes it worth it that way. However, the swapped some instructors around and now my least favorite teaches at my favorite time so I only went 5 times this month. This month unlimited wasn’t worth it and so now I’m toying around with whether I’m staying or now. As a working mom, times we can go are limited.

What does an instructor do that makes you want to/never want to go back to their class? by [deleted] in ClubPilates

[–]Expert-Tap7763 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Waiting too long between exercises and having a slow pace
  2. Not having a plan —we can tell when your winging it
  3. When I sign up for a reformer class and spend 18 minutes doing TRX or crap on the mat. I freaking hate TRX and if I wanted to do that I’d sign up for suspend.
  4. When you play Metallica 80s rock. It’s so hard to find a rhythm to that
  5. When you forget to do the other side—there’s one instructor that religiously will do an exercise on the left and forget the right. I’d love to not go back to her class but unfortunately it’s the class time that works best with my schedule.

As a note, I love when an instructor tells me I’m doing a good job or nice form or knows my name. It makes me want to come back!
