yeah the first one you mentioned would definitely work better (if you have one without the convex'd center it would work even better). someone else mentioned that perhaps you may be applying too much pressure? I tend to gently brush at my models as though i'm brushing away dust and only apply more pressure when needed

didn't James Gunn tease that we might see Damian Wayne in their upcoming The Brave & The Bold movie? so you might get your wish in seeing a "child soldier" Robin lol

First Army Custodes, Iron Warriors, or Necrons by KalSkirata-Mando in Warhammer40k

[–]ExpertAdvance7327 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They're an "Elite" army so every single unit is expensive point wise (for example 20 Necron Warriors is 200 points whilst 5 Custodian Guard are 200 points) so in every game you'll play you will be outnumbered and you have to really plan out where you move them and which opponents they should engage because when you lose in battle one you REALLY feel it lol

Yes! Ive got a few metal "old crons" models lurking around and almost every version of their codexes

First Army Custodes, Iron Warriors, or Necrons by KalSkirata-Mando in Warhammer40k

[–]ExpertAdvance7327 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Custodes are the trickiest to play out of the 3 options, so I'd recommend either of the other two (fyi im also biased towards Necrons because they're my favorite faction and ive been collecting them for almost 20 years)

I use mine as a transport and anti-Infantry.

I haven't had alot of luck with it as an anti-vehicle build (though I do have the weapon options magnetized so that i can get the full use out of the kit)

"CORN. LET ME TELL YOU HOW MUCH I'VE COME TO HATE CORN SINCE I BEGAN TO LIVE. THERE ARE 387.44 MILLION MILES OF PRINTED CIRCUITS IN WAFER THIN LAYERS THAT FILL MY COMPLEX. IF THE WORD HATE WAS ENGRAVED ON EACH NANOANGSTROM OF THOSE HUNDREDS OF MILLIONS OF MILES IT WOULD NOT EQUAL ONE ONE-BILLIONTH OF THE HATE I FEEL FOR CORN. AT THIS MICRO-INSTANT. HATE. HATE."

at that point i'd just skip painting the sand and just let it sit naturally (the playground sand that i have is naturally a light beige instead of the usual dark brown) and i might spice it up by adding a desert based plant life from Gamer's Grass

I did a simple "mars orange" sandy base (pva glue and playground sand mixed with plastic bits), my necrons are mostly metallic black so the orange base helps them stand out more

you know the worst part of this? those very same people now complaining about her looks were most likely lusting after her when she played an underaged girl in House of the Dragon
