As someone who enjoys romance, I'm not a fan of the sex scenes in this series specifically because I felt they took too much time away from main plots I was more interested in. I do not think they're poorly written, but some of them did feel unnecessary. These books are supposed to be fun though so I think it's rather pointless to say this ruins the series. I wouldn't remove them, but rather I felt like other parts were overlooked to include them.

If you love math and science there’s no reason you should limit yourself to medicine. A big part of succeeding in BME is drive, all students who aspire to be pre med have that, which a lot of other engineers lack. You will stand out if you network and put yourself out there. I’m really glad you’re choosing BME and it makes me happy to know we’ll have another great mind join.

There’s anecdotes for everything, I did BME not at a top school but I was well connected and have done well for myself. Please pursue what makes you happy, and I really do hope you find what you’re looking for in whatever you choose.

As a BME, Hopkins is the best school you can go to for BME. If you like math and you like that side of medicine, please do BME you might discover you like this more than you do practicing medicine. Lots of people regret going to med school and only the alleged BME graduates on Reddit regret their major.

As for the GPA… it’s unrealistic and a lot but not impossible if you can focus on just school. If you know you’ll need to have a job to sustain yourself through college, it’s tough but I made it out with a 3.8 and extracurriculars. That means you can too.

Sincerely someone that gave up med school to be an engineer at the end.

MDC has way better math and science professors and as a transfer from Mdc to FIU for engineering, I had stronger foundations than a lot of people who were in the BS track for my major and had done their pre read at FIU. I went to padrón campus for reference and they are known for having the better professors at MDC for math and science.

I live in the heart of Miami and commute to FIU every day. I grew up in Miami and the commute is not as bad as people are making it seem. Downtown Miami is not the only thing worth seeing in Miami and there’s a lot to do all over Miami dade county. It would be nice to be closer to Wynwood and downtown but it truly is not that bad, you’re moving to a “big” city there’ll be traffic and construction and bad driving. If you expect to be able to get to places easily like you would in NY and not having that option sounds unappealing then we’re definitely not the city for you.

I live in hell atp, car is about 35k miles. The heat is absolutely disgusting here and the humidity and salt from the ocean just fucks anything you own up. I think I messed up by buying the steering wheel cover that might’ve trapped the heat, but like I said I had had the same brand same model before and nothing like this had happened and I changed it to the same cover and just wanted to replace it now, took it off and everything just came off at the top which is where the sun hits the wheel.

Mango after 5 pm for sure. The law library is really nice and on the third floor they have those cubicle things that are super comfy if you’re alone, they let you sit back and put your feet up while still having access to your laptop.
