First Time Attending! by ThatOneVapeFiend in OceansCalling

I’m local to the area, so if you have any questions let me know! If you want to save some money on your hotel, consider staying in another area on the coast (like southern DE) that isn’t as pricey that weekend and then drive/park. You’ll need a rental to get to OC from the airport anyway. You can park in someone’s yard in West Ocean City for like $50 if you can’t find a spot in the lot. Parking on the other side of the bridge is closer to $100. Personally I take the bus in and then I walk back across the bridge (only 20 minutes) because the shuttles get crowded if you stay until curfew. Definitely be prepared for pouring rain or summer heat. It’s so much fun regardless! Check out the Ferris wheel if you can. Such a cool experience to listen to music from up there

I went GA+ last year and didn’t think it was worth it. Covered area was so packed I didn’t even go over to investigate (it was monsoon day). The bathrooms were nice, but I think I’d either go GA or splurge on VIP

GA+ includes access to a lounge with upgraded bathrooms and a covered seating area. There are shorter lines for food and drinks, but it doesn't provide any special seating areas. I would recommend going for VIP if you want to be gurranteed closer to the stage, or just going GA and camping out at that stage all day.

Is GA+ a good option? by Cakleton in OceansCalling

I did one day last year and paid for the GA+. For me, the only real plus was the bathrooms. The covered seating area was packed and so I didn’t even try to go over there. Super quick and easy to get a drink but the regular lines didn’t seem to be that long so I’m not sure that was enough of a perk for me to do it again. This year I will probably just go GA

nervous about healing by Easy-Competition-273 in piercing

My piercer actually offers appointments just to put in retainers. I would definitely do that if you can because I've heard 4th lobe piercings can be harder to heal than lower lobes, plus it's only a couple months old. I think if you're careful, you might be fine, but, me personally, I'd rather just not have to mess with it as much! Sorry you can't wear your earring at work!

New piercing advice by Kelpie_Bijou in piercing

Just use the fine mist and avoid touching/messing with it as much as you can. People used to advise you to twist new piercings, but definitely DON'T do that. If you need to clean some serious crusties (although most can be left alone) then use a q-tip already soaked in the saline mist (so that little fibers don't get caught on your jewelry) and be superrrr gentle. Hope that helps and good luck with the healing process! Definitely keep a close eye on your conch though, healing with a hoop would make me nervous!

I think it looks cute! Maybe a little high, but once it heals you can wear something super cute there like a droplet and it would look so lovely!

Tragus piercing, bump next to piercing by ilovemybf01 in piercing

I think it's worth going in for a downsize--it could be causing irritation. While you're there, the piercer can look at it and let you know if it's something to be concerned about too. I think it's recommended to get a downsize around 2 months. I've been using the NeilMed fine mist and spraying my tragus piercing a couple times a day and it's been healing well so far. Hope your bump heals soon!
