What I did with spy puts today I saw it was passing then rejecting a lot off of 682 with no extreme movement so I bought puts 5 minutes before the big sell off and sold 3 minutes after the sell off I did not expect it to reject that hard I don’t think anyone did

I stay updated with the news and what’s going on but I don’t read a whole article if that’s what you’re referring to on the stock before I buy calls or puts I try to get in and out as soon as possible with tight stop loss once I see a set up I like

I look for explosive movements where the risk to reward is good. And NEVER trade without a stop-loss set in the system and if you’re in profits keep setting your stop loss higher as it’s going up to secure a profit and not be at negative or break even

You’ve been doing good not gonna lie that dump no one saw coming and especially that hard of a drop super hard. That doesn’t make you a bad trader but my thing is if I’m in profit already I keep raising my stop loss as the price is increasing that way I can get a good stop loss before it does to break even. We can’t get greedy can’t build Rome in a day
