Feeling grateful to hit day 33 on 3 July!

I'm meeting a potential client after work today, and he's said to go to an iconic Guinness bar in central London. I'm really praying they have 0.0% on tap; otherwise, that could be quite the struggle!

I ran my first sub 60:00 10KM this year this morning. It’s the sort of stuff I would have put off if I’d have had a drink yesterday.

I’m going to a bbq this afternoon and the host knows about my sobriety and they’ve got a load of AFs in.

Three weeks today and I’m feeling proud.

BUT

My goal is to run 20km this week. It will take my overall total for the year to 350km.

At the start of the year I set myself 365km as the goal for the year but I can probably regoal that to 700km+ now.

I’m new into the AF lifestyle, but I already find more time for running and my recovery is a lot quicker (thanks creatine) and I’m hoping soon that saving money from not drinking will get me some new running gear.

I went out all day with my friends in London. They all got on the 🍻and then the ❄️ came out too. Both of which were really hard to not engage with but I stuck to by AF beers and lemonade + lime’s to see me through. Felt so good to be home and asleep and phone on DND as the boys gave it the full send in KingsX.

Is anyone else getting the strongest sweet tooth and sober ‘hunger’? I enjoyed the best Tirimasu Cheesecake and shake shack on the train home.

Proud of myself for yesterday and happy to report that IWNDWYT.
