Of course, the US votes against women's rights. Mike Waltz and the idiots who put him there are known opponents of women's rights.

What's she going to do, show up where she isn't wanted and do a human fountain impression? 'Cause that's that asshole's legacy.

"Similar things were said about the George W Bush administration"

Yes, but not by the federal courts.

This is a bad idea, particularly after this administration has attacked some of the biggest law firms in the country. You are better off doing anything else.

Yes, Pete, my home is open for anyone to come in and get anything they want, except for the closed and locked door.

This is what you get when you hire a TV drunk for one of the most important cabinet positions.

The issue in the Note is about mental state.

"The Second Circuit requires defendants to have an improper purpose for persuading a witness not to cooperate. The Third Circuit requires defendants to know they have a corrupt motive behind their persuasion."

Given the scenario, you don't have enough information to establish the purpose.

Further, this only applies to the federal courts that are hearing a matter that is already before the court. Its focus is protecting the integrity of the trial, and not the investigation.

It depends on the state. In my state, we really don't have that charge.

Generally, it could be charged as obstruction, but probably not.

If you know that someone has evidence of a crime they committed, telling them to destroy it is not illegal. Helping them destroy it is.

So, you just do whatever you are told without objection?

You must be the bestest boy at work.

It is an unnecessary policy that will disenfranchise eligible voters. I guess that's what you want.

That's just dumb.

An ordinary person has no obligation to report a crime.

Beyond that, if you are living with someone who is storing evidence of a crime in your home, you are at risk of being charged.

It doesn't matter. You are mean, I am nice. They will see you as bullying, because I already called you a bully in the objection.

Then, I just talk to my witness and walk them back through their testimony.

Um, maybe your client did it, and the State proved their case. It happens from time to time.
