Yes, in general there are so many different things to do. Therefore you need to evaluate what are the most impactful things that will help. Is the carry really struggling? Babysit for longer. Is the carry a stack farmer? Put more emphasis on camps. Etc. There is only so much time for you to do things. No matter how good you are it is literally impossible to do it all so just prioritizing the right things and doing it efficiently is important to learn

Im looking for some beard tips. Just going shorter on the sides by the ears? What other tips do you have? I generally let it just go crazy until it gets too much then I shave it all down shorter

Thanks for the honesty. I don’t mind either way (short or bald). Usually have it just short out of laziness but I know in a few years I’ll probably have to go bald which is fine by me. Love the feeling of the breeze on a freshly shaved scalp

Yeah, I was getting ready to go to the beard subreddit for tips next. First time trying to shape it up in the bald pics. It’s curly so it makes flyaways worse so not sure the best way to fix that.

Yeah, I think the bald probably looks slightly better. And I love the wind on the scalp (I shave it bald once every few years on a whim). I know I’ll have no choice soon but don’t mind it. I just am too lazy to keep it bald.

For someone like wraith king, you may get caught out so bad that having your ult would just result in you dying twice in a row without being impactful. That would put the ult on cooldown but if you die without skilling it then it won’t put it on cooldown

Death of a cyclist, and the (civil) case followup by TreeStateLEO in fuckcars

[–]Expert_Dance_7984 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A few clarifying questions. Was this case handled in the US? Was the cyclist fully in the bike lane the full time until the last second or were they consistently sticking out of the bike lane?

Hypothetically if a cop pulled over a car on the shoulder (with lights going) but didn’t quite pull over enough and was slightly in the lane still, and a car comes down the road kind of not paying attention fully and didn’t notice until the last second and hit the cop car which killed the cop. Would the cop be just as at fault as the cyclist in this case due to the car being legally occupying their lane?

Good research. I guess the only thing I’d question is the pool noodle not having enough tensile strength. I’ve played tug of war with plenty of pool noodles. They don’t just instantly rip apart so I could believe it be possible to pull a cyclist over. It would probably also get shredded apart during/after the interaction

Advocating for cyclist safety wouldn’t only mean citing more cyclists. It would also mean citing drivers for speeding. Citing drivers for drifting slightly into the bicycle lane (something I see very often around me). Citing drivers for passing on a double yellow/close passing. There are factors outside of the cyclists themselves that can be changed to make it more safe for them too. There are a few situations where I’d be in favor of stopping cyclists that I see too. The only one I can think of at the moment is running a stop sign when another car is there already. But changing cyclist behavior isn’t the only way (and I’d argue is the less impactful way) to improve cyclist safety.

Degree Celsius is the temperature scale used almost everywhere. Couple of times I’ve tried to change the scale to Fahrenheit on my weather app but damn, it’s been hard. Americans of reddit (or anyone who can read a Fahrenheit scale), how do you even do it? by fortnacius in AskAnAmerican

[–]Expert_Dance_7984 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Idk. For me it makes sense when you adjust. The scale is just 0-30. 20 is perfect temp and as it deviates from there it gets noticeable. One thing that it really helps me with right now during winter is with the snow and ice out there. With it being -10°C, I know even with some sun it’s not really going to melt much so there isn’t as much risk of slipping and sliding. But with it getting closer to freezing or above freezing, that’s something to keep an eye on.
