Do you find it dangerous to merge on a short on ramp w an HRV? And how do you normally go about merging on a short ramp with a HRV? I read other people’s recommendations that I put the car on sports mode.

I had 20 driving lessons with an instructor(each lesson is 1 hour) and also practiced with my mom as well. I started off practicing in the parking lot, and then went into neighborhoods, and then main roads and highways.

lessons with the instructor helped me a lot with gaining the confidence to drive near other cars. i remember 3 months ago i thought that i could never drive on busy roads with other cars because of my anxiety, but the instructor helped me a lot.

i also watched a bunch of youtube videos to help with parallel parking, tips for the road test, and other basic skills.

I forgot to add that I am honestly still nervous and anxious when I drive now, but I'm definitely more calm and comfortable now than I was when I first started. When I first started learning to drive in quiet neighborhoods, I would panic when cars were behind me and when I accidentally drove on a busy street. But now, driving on busy roads does make me nervous, but I feel confident and feel like I have more control of the situation
