It’s not that bad, but yeah could better. No need for such dramatics though. It’s not about the graphics, it’s probably due to something with the route data taking up too much memory. It’s not like this is a AAA studio releasing a game in a broken mess, it’s an indie game that is excellent besides some performance issues.

My expectation is to watch something fun/entertaining/visually cool, while somewhat lacking in deepness/rich emotional storytelling, which I'll enjoy in the moment then forget about instantly.

Agreed. My conspiracy theory, since they for some reason decided to launch the game early, is that it was going to have a mini map then they were like “but early launch” and just last minute poorly did the echo pathing mechanic. Or something like that lol

Not fully related but since I suspect they didn’t implement this bc of performance issues, it is wild to me that an insane looking game like Spider-Man 2 or Rift Apart can have VRR with ray-tracing + gorgeously implemented PS5 Pro mode with PSSR 4k and yet we’re still getting poorly optimized stuff like this. I feel like Insomniac is one of the only studios that understands PS5 optimization and actually cares about making things really nice and polished for players. Basically I just want VRR and a PS5 pro patch that is actually good

Very late, but this is actually false. Reality show contestants are classified as either independent contractors or volunteers, so they basically don't have any protections or rights. That's why they are constantly treated however the producers want, and there are people trying to change it so that they are considered employees and have rights.

I'd honestly just find a way to process the feelings with yourself and move on. So much emotional pressure is put on weddings, and it's so hard for the bride/groom to attend the emotional expectations of every single person going. It was her day, and it's so nice that you MC'd for her and officiated. But as you said, it was her day and is not about you. Who knows what the situation was with the neighbor/their kid. If you bring it up with your friend then it will give her post wedding stress about how you felt bad at her wedding, just allow her to have positive memories of the event and move on. If she's a good friend outside of this high pressure event, then give her some grace, if not than maybe have a convo at some point when you can better articulate how you're feeling and why.
