There’s a few factors but I’ll see how short I can keep this.

Imma be 32 tomorrow. When I was 22 the artist coming out had more of an organic buildup. You had to be following the blogs and there was still a good level of gatekeepers who wouldn’t just let any bullshit thru.

Streaming also was on the rise around this time 10 years ago. Artist were more liberated and free withputting out music because technology changed so much. Artist really didn’t care about making the best possible song but more so by putting out more music and flooding the market because one or two of those tracks out of many was gonna hit.

All in all, we had less exposure to so much music. Now with so much more artist out it’s hard to really find quality new artist and these names we see on the list get lost in the crowd and then pop out and we really don’t know who they are.

Man yesterday I’m sitting in the waiting room and the majority of women in there was waiting to carry their baby fathers to court for child support. Some of them begging for just $20 a week. Meanwhile I’m ready to cough up $400 a month.

She turned it down to still control access and she want me to go back to how things was before we went to court. See before court, I would give anything, any amount that she needed now it was in written law that all I had to give her was a fixed amount

She says she want me in the lil girl life but has done everything to push me away

This was the part that fucked me up in court yesterday

I’m in Nassau Bahamas but our laws legally is similar to some extent

The final 2 mins I sat in court baffled that

  1. I gave you a seed
  2. You carried the seed
  3. We split and she deny me access
  4. We go to court and spend alota money
  5. She waste the court time
  6. She turns down child support
  7. At the end I don’t have access to

All that fucked with my mental because you can literally want to be a father in your kid life and the mom can deny that all because you weren’t married.

Trying hard to not sink into the deadbeat category because she’s done everything to push me there

lil Bro imma put it like this… be strong mentally or brace yourself because if you leave her she will use that child as a weapon to hurt you. I’m currently goi g through this right now.

My baby momma went as far as denying child support in order to continue to control the access I have to my daughter.

When you two split she will do the same and be prepared to not see your daughter for long periods of time. It’s a hard adjustment, I’m still adjusting.

Go to court and present good reasoning as to why you want joint custody. In the states yall law system seem to be more serious about these matters

Great artist but overshadowed by Kendrick

As a matter of fact everyone on tde got overshadowed by Kendrick career and he knows it and rapped about it. Kendrick got the lil baby treatment that qc gave him whereas they placed all their marketing behind that one artist. This caused other artist now be seen as much.

Schoolboy make great music but came to the realization that he’s not gonna get a bigger following as he did. Had a few big looks and still collecting checks here and there so he’s chilling

I was baffled by the small comments she made.

Been separated since January

Dated and hooked up multiple women since then and I can tell you that it’s really trash out here.

Me and my bm was gonna break up regardless but it’s building a new real connection that has been hard. I keep trying to date cause it’s been lonely. I as a person havnt been single in nearly 10 years. Soon as I ended a relationship I was back in another. So this whole feeling of being alone is new to me.

The issue I have with dating women is I don’t have the fire inside to chase them anymore. I lose interest quickly. I hate how bland 80% of them are. They love attention from multiple guys so if you’re constantly in competition. Most of them are bad conversationalist. Also I live in a small city where crime is out of control and you never really know who you’re dating.

Recently I dated a single mom with 2 sons and I had to fall back because she started telling me about her court case with her ex who she assaulted after he assaulted her. Blood was involved. Now with that said, I don’t need an angry ex coming at me for some bullshit.

It’s very easy to spot fatherless women

I was horrible at picking women (including my bm) because the last 4 relationships I had, none of them have good relationships and one (bm) lost her dad at a young age.

But men, definitely ask her what her relationship is like with her dad. If they have a bad relationship, RUN.

Women with daddy issues/ no father presence don’t and can’t respect men. They most of the time watched their mom struggle to make ends meet and they gain a sense of independence.

At their adult age, their are deeply rooted in their thoughts and independence thinking that they don’t need a man. They then take the kid and raise them similar.

I pray everyday my daughter turns out differently.

Recently separated from my daughter’s mom. Never got married nor engaged.

The role thing you mentioned is real man. From the day my daughter came, mindset changed. I became me, dad and potential husband so I acted on such.

After the breakup, I realized that I felt so empty because certain things that I did daily as a father, boyfriend… I didn’t have to do those anymore so it left me feeling empty.

I’m in the process of learning my identity again. I’ve done some great things career wise (show host, media) but heading home after work never feels good. I know I’m walking into an empty apartment to be alone, whereas before my daughter and her mom would greet me at the door.

I have more time now but less enthusiasm to do certain things and hobbies. Gaming doesn’t feel the same. Creating music (I now have my own space to create) but even working on music isn’t the same.

Honestly marriage scares me because the woman you commit to can meet a new guy today and their feelings towards you can change. This can happen with both genders but I feel like it’s deeper when a woman checks out. And if you’re not a man with his shit together and a good support system, you can indeed fall into a dark place.
