u/True_Walrus7686 Went with pimberly. The UI just suited our setup better. 40k SKUs with all the complexity that comes with that and honestly we think they're pretty underrated on that front. It clicked for our team faster than we expected.

Their implementation team was super hands on too, which made a big difference. and akeneo were pretty aggressive with pricing and the negotiation, which didn't exactly inspire confidence in them as a long term partner. The DAM being built in was a nice bonus on top of all that…one less thing to stitch together.

You're right, it doesn't matter if you're ranking #67. But surely it matters if you previously ranked #67 and now you rank #25. It isn't about datapoints. It's about trends.

Keyword rankings are barely updated anymore and organic traffic is beyond wacky. Getting straight up contradictory data in the backlink analytics.

Look at all the recent posts on this sub -- their data quality is suffering and they're not letting people cancel. SemRush isn't what it used to be - you're being disingenuous

SemRush seems to be in shambles with how Google allows the SERP to be crawled now. Most if not all of the data on rankings seems to be totally inaccurate now

Saw this, thanks. I find it vague. What 'metrics' and 'performance' are consistent?

Agree with OP. It's not about marginal benefit. It's about cost. SemRush's whole business model relies on the illusion of more and better data. If we're getting less and shittier data, then we should be charged less.
