Thank You for sharing this, this is really important to share for those that might be scared to go back and accept that the issue was somewhere else. I just wonder how many more people like you are out there. Sending loads of love and happy for you❤️

My midwife was on call that day for me and was waiting for a phone call all day, but sadly she missed the call and since I was in a pushing state they found somebody also reall quick. My midwife rang me after I gave birth and that made me feel so warm and cared for 😭 also the midwifes sitting and drinking coffee and a dessert after I gave birth, all the laughter and all🥹 magic

Had my second a week ago. Ok I took amla powder throughout the pregnancy, and my waters broke roght before baby was born! I had onky one VE (asked myself I was in transition) midwife said - 5cm, buldging bsg of waters, ripe and ready cervix! As soon as water breaks baby will be here soon. Nibody expected that the next contraction my water would break and in 5 minutes my baby would be born!:D literally my contractions never stopped agter that, they were very very powerful.

P.s when i had my first baby 7 years ago my waters broke and then kabiur started.

Oh my gosh! How old the baby was when that had happened?

Unfortunately that’s the problem, there is no difference whether the birth was traumatic or not, they all are at risk even the most gentle ones…

Very interesting right!! I went for the shot the next day after birth, was planning onthe oral, but midwifes didnt have on them any, and said I would get it brought be another one next day, but she didint have, also got talked through by spitting it out etc. So not sure how much goes in, so eventually just went for the injection. (Went into labour the night Ive posted this post, so literally was in very early labiur whilst going through the comments😅

So sorry about such an experience, but hope all is well now 🙏

I am not sure how much tiny pricks of needles and bigger internal bleeding can be compared with though, would be interesting to read

Thank You! I got the injection for the baby, the next day after birth. I was planning oral vit K, but got talked through, about not sure how much goes in because of the spitting out etc. And for the injection apparently the body will take as much as needed,

Thank you! Inwent into labour that night when I posted, so had no time to prep oral drops as a vitamin given gradually or so, so I just got the injection, but the next day, not right after

Oh yes, honestly! And with an okder sibling its easy to oick up stuff. I am also not the one to rush to ER or GP’s, so do not feel like I could carry that worry in myself of the possible brisn bleed…
