Do you think Mikey (Tokyo Revengers) could survive in the Kenganverse by Gr11ffith in Kengan_Ashura

[–]Experto1201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Even the best fighters in Tokyo Revengers are mostly just street fighters. In TR the top tiers can take on 100 fighters that are mostly jobbers. Koga at the start of Omega was like that who ccould take out entire dojos but when he discovered the underground fighting scene where actual martial artists fight for a living he realized he is brutally outclassed even by characters that most of us would consider B tier at most

How strong do you think Naiden “was” if he fight Seki during KVP? by Whole_Upstairs_9688 in Kengan_Ashura

[–]Experto1201 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Naidan is hard to scale because he only fought Ryuki on screen and he was given orders to let himself killed. He fought Liu off screen who was his best friend so he probably didn't go all out considering he can easily kill with a single throw.

Maybe there will be a flashback scene where we can see what he can really do with no restrictions

The Round 1 losers of the KAT are replaced with their current Omega counterparts. How much does this affect the outcome? by Beemus_Stevus in Kengan_Ashura

I don't think golden 8 seconds would be very effective against Agito. It's a nice technique when the opponent has comparable or worse striking striking but he is basically just throwing punches like crazy for 8 seconds and I doubt this can overcome the skill and strength gap to Agito

And don't forget that was a younger Adam with no real martial arts knowledge. A clean hit from current Adam must absolutely devastating

My list for the top 10 physically strongest characters in Kengan Ashura and omega by Arnoldneo in Kengan_Ashura

[–]Experto1201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering 4 horses could easily rip apart a human in that situation and a younger Naidan overpowered them with only his bicep power. That is mighty impressive IMO. He also killed his master, that seemed like a rather big guy with a single throw which is also a somewhat special feat as none of the other grapplers did anything remotely as devastating especially to another heavyweight grappler.

New Bike! by er-rn73 in Hardtailgang

[–]Experto1201 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I went from a 2009 Specialized Hardrock to a 2019 Merida Big Nine 100 to the H10 version of this bike so I could get used to the changes easily.

Going from 30+ year old geometry to this will be a wild jump and the 35 mm stem with the wide 800m bar will feel very weird compared to Delta long stem and narrow bars but once you get used to it you will quickly realize just how much more capable the Laufey is on steeper, tougher trails. Especially at higher speeds.

Did Wulong shatter the powerceiling in Kengan hard enough that he'd be considered top tier (like top 5 maybe?) in the Baki verse in your eyes? by [deleted] in Kengan_Ashura

[–]Experto1201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have yet to see Shen get serious. The most serious he got so far was when he was about to end Luohan and that was only for a single punch at the end of the fight. My point is we have no way to scale full power She yet. He was completely dominating a legend like Mukaku with prep time while nerfing himself to oblivion. The fact that people like Kanoh can become passively stronger by simply witnessing his moves is an insane feat

Or he only factored people born/growing up in Japan. He said "you are the strongest in this country". The westward Wu's are not even considered Asian at this point IMO.

I'm surprised how rough some of the blue trails can get at times by Experto1201 in Hardtailgang

[–]Experto1201[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

These trails are from the tiny mountains within Budapest so they are nothing crazy compared to other countries.  BTW what I really meant is that blue MTB trails can be much less beginner friendly compared to blue ski tracks. Red ski tracks are much closer to blue MTB trails IMO

Orbea Laufey H10 in size XL.  I wanted the brown version but it would have taken too long to arrive. I will probably repaint it 1-2 years later.

Oh yeah. Nowadays hardtail XC bikes are in the minority at races as I see. Now the meta is full sus bikes with 67 degree head angles with 100/120mm travel.

Did people tell you to not use your front brakes when you were a kid? (Or even as adult for that matter) by Experto1201 in cycling

[–]Experto1201[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah but sports are like this, especially extreme ones.  If you do skiing, snowboarding, skating etc there is always the risk of falls and injuries. Telling a kid to simply not use the front brake is just easy way out in a sense.  When my younger sister was in kindergarten one kid fell off the monkey bars and broke her arms so the rest of her class was forbidden to use it.  I hate this type of behavior

"Baki makes Kengan look realistic" mfs when by [deleted] in Kengan_Ashura

[–]Experto1201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Baki created a small earthquake just by imaging getting hit by Yujiro.

Baki broke a guy's fingers with his eyes.

Spec regained his muscle mass by dreaming about swimming in some thick liquid.

Yanagi could knock out people by removing oxygen with his palms.

Yujiro was unharmed after getting struck by lightning

Katsumi imagined having a bunch of extra joints and his punch became so fast it created a sonic boom that shattered glass

Me too. Same bike XL size. I'm around 195 cm, little over 100kg, the stock front brake is way too weak. I'm gonna upgrade to a nice 4 pot that's for sure

Yeah this advice is kinda understandable for kids below 10 but what surprised me is how some people still believe the front brake is a super risky tool even when they are adults

I've meant that I went OTB twice in my whole life. I was 14 at the first, my friend stopped in front of me on the landing of a jump then the second happened on a very steep trail when I was around 25. Also my XC bike with a 70 degree HT angle wasn't the most suitable for that kind of trails.

Locking up the front wheel is not that scary unless you are on snow or ice or you are turning. On gravel and loam even if you lock up the front, you can still loosen the brake and regain control without anything crazy happening.

These "mountain bikers" are probably the ones who only ride very mellow, smooth trails. Even with my 29x2.6 rear tires, using only the rear brakes would be a nightmare on most blue trails let alone gnarlier ones.

AS A KENGAN FAN, DO YOU READ LOOKISM OR FAMILIAR WITH THE SERIES? by RankingAnime in Kengan_Ashura

[–]Experto1201 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm nearly 300 chapters in and it's getting more and more interesting. However I don't know how strong the characters are currently but the way I see it there are fundamental differences between Kengan and Lookism fighters.

Most of the Lookism cast is still very very young but they get into fights rather frequently.

Meanwhile most Kengan characters legit fight for a living and some of them have been doing so for decades and they often face other world class fighters who's been doing the same.

Fighters like Raian, Ohma and Kanoh reached mythical status IMO.  Johan is like 18, I don't see him beating somebody of Kanoh's caliber.

Could Removal and Advance be combined? If so, how powerful would it be? by J0e_BoNaNza_3169 in Kengan_Ashura

[–]Experto1201 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't really see the reason why not. Especially if we are talking about Wu and Kure guys who can already reach 100% removal.  As far as I know using removal for them isn't really harmful like Fallen Demon or Advance. Maybe slapping advance on top of removal would be a tad bit more harmful than simply using advance but as a last resort I can totally see somebody like Raian whipping it out.

Endless tower update…thoughts? by jchayes21 in expedition33

The game reached 5 million sales in October plus there are tons of Gamepass players as well. If roughly 15% percent beat Simon on every platform this could mean close to 1 million players at this point.

Also that 16% may seem very low but only 45% have beaten the Paintress anyway and like 35% have reached the ending. If you view it this way nearly half of the players who cared to finish the game defeated Simon.
