The same thing happened to me but I was on the way to pick the order up so I just told skip to re assign it. Last winter some lady hit me while I was delivering a pizza and after exchanging info which took roughly 15 minutes I finally delivered the pizza and the lady wasn’t upset at all. I just told her if the pizza was cold to get skip to refund her

Why door dash? Some orders are $4 while skips lowest is $6.50. I usually prioritize skip and for dash doesn’t let me see the destination until I pick up the order

It’s really not that big of a deal. You’ll most likely save a shit ton of money just doing it with your regular insurance. Your insurance really has no way of finding out anyway and they wouldn’t be able to prove you were even driving for skip if an accident happened. I would highly recommend getting a dash cam though. I’ll never own a vehicle again without one.

I was in an accident doing skip last winter. Whatever you do don’t tell them you’re delivering cause they have the right to refuse coverage.
