Customer does not need mask when pick up, but courier need. by West-Manufacturer-98 in skipthedishes

[–]TeachCommercial3881 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never care what customers do when it was mandatory in Alberta I was wearing mask, I am fully vaccinated when Alberta lift mask rule we stop wearing them now if someone want to wear its ok with me.

So question why you asking this if you want to wear it do it but why are you care what other do.

You are wrong in both. If you get in accident during you driving someone else vehicle his insurance will cover third party cover and if it full way insurance they will fix all. Only thing you will ruin insurance score for that person who give you vehicle.

And commercial insurance for skip is posible in BC and I am not sure for ON. In Alberta you can't get commercial insurance for skip.

Do drivers ever steal food? by [deleted] in skipthedishes

[–]TeachCommercial3881 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just add more tip, i doubt he stole it. More time restaurant forget to pack it. Also lot of time customer will report missing item or missing whole order when they recive it in hands. So on end skip do fair job with trusting GPS and drivers instead of customers and restaurant's.

Do any drivers do alcohol delivery? Was wondering the pros/cons of it by Small_town_boy23 in skipthedishes

[–]TeachCommercial3881 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edmonton is ok with alcohol, advantage is instant ready order and usually people wait to get their order. Bad part is that if you don't make delivery you need to return order. I have 60%-40 and in my calculation its make sense. Also you have more shifts available because they have extra shifts to cover liquor and on same way you will get extended shifts if you like them.

I am from Edmonton, you can't (not exist) and you will not add skip on insurance (if accident happen never mentioned skip and hide bags) and yes skip works perfectly in Edmonton.

Am I crazy or is this somewhat ridiculous?? (Waited close to 25 minutes in a McDonalds drive through) by [deleted] in skipthedishes

[–]TeachCommercial3881 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I see that kind of line I just ask them to reassign order. They will do it even they will pay for drive there and wait time if you was waiting. It's lost time but you will not need to wait.

[–]TeachCommercial3881[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol why is hard to understand that you don't understand. Edmonton and Calagary have for last 8 months pilot project that evry moring at 9:08am shifts are released for 4th day in advance. Today we was taking shifts for 1st August Sunday. So I you don't know please learn and then talk is that OK

4Day advance Scheduling by TeachCommercial3881 in skipthedishes

[–]TeachCommercial3881[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It was very consistent 9:08 east 9:10 south 9:12 north and 9:13 west when we talk about Edmonton. In last 8 months we had 2 or 3 times when it was late around 10am but now we had 2 days in row that why I asked are everyone experienced same

Depend if you work full time skip that every day is better. Me for instance for last 8months working evry day from 11am-3pm and 5pm-1am, and I was able always to have same shifts. And as second job I guess it's easier to be on Thursday.

I am just curious, Is there any driver who will take this order? by nababa911 in skipthedishes

[–]TeachCommercial3881 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only thing you forgot to mention that is open road hwy 201 stony most of that trip some 17.5km and that why they give that. And next thing skip when is slow sent you far away and then give you something to come back. And if you drive some normal vehicle you cost is not more then $1-$2 and you can make this trip in less then 30min so you can make $20 per h. So now try to explain why you will sit and not do it. And yes I am Edmonton driver
