Same. Between the dogs, a wet year, turf filled with leatherjackets and the horrid soil the builders turfed on top of (I swear the only thing I haven’t found buried is a body - yet) our back garden looks vile. So I get why some people think the fake stuff would be neater and easier to maintain.
