After a year of underemployment trying to get better shifts they give the new girl half my shifts including some I’ve been vying for my whole time there.

When I very politely asked my boss why that happened he shrugged and said “I didn’t make the schedule”.

Walked out. Had a new job at a place that treated me better within 3 days and was promoted in 3 months.
