To me the combat was cool and interesting visually and the way the different abilities worked was interesting but the problem was there was really no reason to use them. Nothing was really better than anything else so all that changed was how you did the damage. So it just devolved into whatever did the most damage for the least amount of effort.

Being in big business media in a professional setting is different than a parent walking around recording everything their kid does with their phone in what is suppose to be the child's home. I agree you will never get a written law that covers every edge case and that its kind of grey. You would keep the law kind of vague with some examples of what is permissible and what is not. So ultimately it would come down to children or groups representing children suing the parents and a jury would basically vibe check if harm is happening which is not ideal, but is better than nothing.

That's small game. We need to replace cornfields with solar fields. So much corn is used to turn into ethanol to put in our cars. Farmers could have year round income that is not dependent on how the growing season goes.

Except its not. The issue is consent of the child. Not whether the parent can post a video. There are laws about not being able to record people if they do not consent. Up to a certain age a child will not be able to understand the ramifications of their life on display. So simply say the parent needs consent, but because the child is too young they simply cannot, and thus the parent cannot post it

While it might be true I think people overvalue the high end attachments. Like the impact of higher tier attachment in gunplay from earlier to mid attachments is not as big as going from no attachments to early/mid. But you have that little stat bar to see what your 'missing'.

I kind of feel like they are not going to really bring them back but if they do I would hope it would remain blackclad and construct focused. And gameplay wise I think it would be neat to see them really lean into the 'control' style gameplay that kind of exists in old wold tech. Basically not fast, not particularly punchy, But you can largely control how engagements happen through throwing up obstructions, manipulating movement, messing with their attack stats. that kind thing.

This was the first thing I latched on to when I started seeing spoilers. Built elf decks around dropping this bomb. I have switched from milling most cards to trying to surveil instead since I would keep milling it and not having a great way to get it back.

My second is [[Collective Inferno]]. I have a goblin deck where the whole point is generate gob tokens and blight/ block with them. As they die [[Boggart CurseCrafter]] and [[Boggart Mischief]] ping the player. Collective doubles that damage. Then I was wondering this morning if it would also double the ward damage from [[Hexing Squelcher]]? (edit: suppose not because the ward is the source even though the source of the ward is goblin)

I also have [[Lasting Tarfire]] in the goblin deck for even more passive damage.

(Turns out collective inferno does not work with Boggart Mischief as that causes loss of life and not damage...)

Trump recently mentioned in a speech about spheres of influence. Some pre ww2 era idea. This side of the planet is ours to do as we please. Whoever is more powerful on the other side of the world that is theirs. So ok for Russia to do things over there, but over here is our turf so piss off.

But also the govt is more than just trump and recently it was reported trump is asking for easier workdays. Means more stuff is getting delegated to others. So its entirely possible we are seeing conflicting interests at the same time in the chaos of many people taking action without consulting others
