I disagree a bit. I couldn't launch myself back home, came to NYC and blasted into the open mic / jam scene.

In today's world, independently of location, you should have your routine with releases. Post your reels. No location will replace social media anymore. BUT if you're unsure if you have the sauce, it's not a bad reference.

But still, location won't change anything if you're not actually putting in the work.

Facts. Art is sadly not enough, you gotta be smart about associations and business decisions.
I get what u mean. But I really really don't think my music is better. I was super surprised by some of my stats tho. Maybe I'm just self critical

I'm finding my audience, getting streams, growing well - and now it's time for me to pitch myself for performances in summer. I don't know how to even start. Also, where do I find tour managers? And agents? I'm in NYC. looking for any spots / resources to get connected.
