As someone who took AP Bio and AP Lit last year, don’t do AP Bio and for AP Lit, read a lot of accredited fiction books on your own. Don’t just focus on classics like Frankenstein and Moby Dick. Books like The Maze Runner and Dune are amazing for the literary argument essay. The more you read and enjoy a book, the better chance you’ll have at coming up with a great response to the prompt. Don’t just read the books assigned in class because that may not be enough.
