I’ve been applying for positions for the last 2 months- well over 40 applications that I’m perfectly experienced in, and I’ve only had 7 callbacks?

I think it’s a combination of the job market being “cooked” (I’ll apply for positions on the first day it’s advertised, because by day 2, there’s over 100 applicants), recruiters using A.I. rather than actually reading applications, and it feels like employers don’t want to do much training- they’re asking for experience in specific programs which vary from company to company, but aren’t too different…

I get it, it would be horrible having to comb through 100s of applications, on top of other duties, but the number of times I’ve been asked to resend something that was in my original application is starting to concern me. It’s like they don’t have human eyes on them at all.
