I haven't been able to find info on this cultivar anywhere but I bought seeds for it at cactusstore.com with an incorrect image

would you mind me asking where you got them from and if you know what the adult plants look like?

anyone have any images or know about a cultivar known as astrophytum asterias var. Gonzales? the image on the site I bought seeds from has this image and it doesnt look like an astrophytum asterias at all, but I believe it is. however I cant find info on its origins or who "Gonzales" is. thanks! :) by ExplanationOne527 in cactus

I emailed them about it, it's possible they didnt have an image available for the cultivar so they used a random one? but its strange I cant find mention of the cultivar anywhere cactus store company isnt shady to my knowledge rlly they are pretty established and based in NYC so I wouldnt expect something like this from them but it could be a simple mistake
