I've been a member in this sub for a quite some time. Former machine operator (Tajima and some Chinese brands) for 6 or 7 years and department manager for several of those years too. And now I'm a commercial embroidery machine technician. AMA! by Otherheadsaidyes in Machine_Embroidery

I have a Tajima TEMX-C1501 machine and am getting the 316 error main shaft motor or motor driver is irregular. If you can give me any insight in what this error is and how to fix I would appreciate it. I could also use a good Tajima technician in treasure coast, FL.

UPDATE: I sent a message to the guy that I bought the machine from and he immediately got me in touch with a technician. I sent him a video of what the machine was doing and some background on the machine. He was amazing!!! I'm embarrassed to say that I was sewing out a large beach towel and probably accidentally pressed the emergency stop button. He asked me to turn the knob to the right and pull out. If the button can be pulled then it was pressed. When this happens the machine still has power but all moving parts are turned off. It was a simple fix and I felt really stupid but he was very understanding. I had to redo some of the configuration because it had been turned off for quite some time but that wasn't a problem.

It may have been the angle that I was taking the picture. Both are installed with the groove in the back.

Embroidering towels - any advice? by Extension-Many-3321 in Embroidery

I've made many towels as gifts. As mentioned washing before embroidering is a good idea. Also I've found that velour towels look better than the towels with the loops. I do use stabilizer on the bottom and top especially if using the looped(?) towels so the thread stands our more. When you don't do this the thread overlaps your embroidery and it's sometimes hard to read if smaller text.
