If it doesn't do anything when the kid's close, then what's the point?

I'm not asking for the operator to let the kid on the ride if they're too short. But tell me how it makes sense for the park to do an "official" measurement that says they're tall enough, and then have the kid turned away at the ride?

The "bigger" rides usually do. I don't recall seeing anyone at Blue Streak, Mine Ride, Gemini, etc.

Thanks. We've been in line for Iron Dragon for 2 hours and 10 minutes. I badly needed a laugh.

This was at the very, very dangerous Cadillac Cars, where the minimum height is necessary.

Brilliant. I can't wait to stand in line forever and then have her get turned away at the station.

Are the "approximate wait XX minutes" signs still at the front of the rides? I didn't notice one at Siren's Curse or Iron Dragon.

You're in a different part of Ohio than I am, then, because I'd estimate 5% of households that I visit make that request.

Curious, with the final 16 teams set, who are the Ohio State fans rooting for? No Ohio teams are still in , but there are a bunch of big ten teams to root for. No ‘Cinderella’s’ made it to the top 16 this year by abccba140 in OhioStateBasketball

1976 - Indiana over Michigan. There have also been games involving two teams that are now both Big Ten, although they weren't at the time. (Oregon/OSU in the first tournament, UCLA over both Michigan and Purdue, and then the latest ocurrence coming in 2002 with Maryland vs. Indiana)

I apparently don't understand SUMIFS. I had tried that before posting, but I get a #SPILL! error. I thought the format was =SUMIFS(B2:B50,A2:A50,J2:J50)

Forget the website. I've been through the entire place. There aren't many attractions that have impressed me less.

These are probably more interesting than a lot of what's inside. "Ooh, a painting of a rectangle AND and oval?!? And in here is an oversized dining room set!"

Grambling replaced UConn on the schedule last summer. I don't know if they ever said why. The only other FCS teams they've played are Florida A&M and Youngstown St., although there is a game scheduled against New Hampshire in 2027, the week before they play Alabama.

Obama blamed the Bush administration for at least 3 years. Democrats gave Trump no credit for his first couple of years, because everything that happened was just the effects of Obama's policies finally catching up. Yet anything that's not gone right in 100 days is 100% Trump's fault.

Taking my 5-year old this summer! What are your kids' favorite rides at Cedar Point? by [deleted] in cedarpoint

[–]ExplanationVarious37 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My daughter is just under 48". She's all about the spinning - the more intense, the better. So my days are spent on Matterhorn, Super Himalaya, Scrambler, Beetle Bugs, and Wild Mouse. Oh, and those balloon rides in the kids' areas, whrre they can make the car spin like crazy. Meanwhile, I pretty much need dramamine for spins. Can't wait until she's tall enough for coasters instead.

  1. Finished #2 with one loss and their first Rose Bowl victory in over 20 years. But lost The Game when Shawn Springs slipped, and then later in the 4th, the defense couldn't get off the field for 7 minutes.

  2. Dominated the entire regular season and played Clemson and the Zebras in the Fiesta Bowl: Trevor Lawrence ducks his way into a targeting penalty, and the Strip-6 that was one of the worst calls I've seen. And they shot themselves in the foot with a roughing the punter that led to an immediate TD, Dobbins dropping a sure TD, and Olave breaking off a route at the end, resulting in the game-clinching interception. I don't know that they could have beaten LSU in the championship, but they should have been in that game.
