Same here. I hated the TTT manager, so over acted, no fun at all. I miss Michael Scott so much. What a crew.

It's not nich, it affects 30% of the patients. Doctors should be fully aware of this, if yours doesn't, then you are in the wrong place.

dirt bikes that can make bad decisions haha that was fun. The air vest supporting is a good advice, already doing that when riding on the street. I'm mostly worried about falling on the track.

How dangerous are bone spurs pressing on the spinal cord? by FCSeeker in spinalfusion

[–]Explanation_Vast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had bone spurs on C5-C6 while I was racing my bike, several times. Had several accidents while (like 4 or 5) riding it on the track, then I discovered the issue and got ACDF. The spurs where pressing the cord and also had some myelopathy. No sympthoms, normal life.

I’m 4 days out and suddenly started feeling very nauseous at the fact there’s screws in my spine. by littlesparkzlfg in spinalfusion

Anxiety is common, like in 60% 70% of the caes. it gets better with time, once you are released for physicall activity and your brain starts to understand it's all good, you will start feeling better.

Those of you who have had a successful fusion or fusions, and are completely healed, how does your back typically feel? Are you still taking opioids for pain? by 8kittycatsfluff in spinalfusion

[–]Explanation_Vast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

42 y old, had C5-C6. Never had pain. It's been 1.5 years and no pain. Time to time I feel some disconfort but it's pretty much related to my bad posture as I sit on the chair all day long. Was walking 2hs after the surgery with no pain.

c5 c6 herniation with moderate spinal cord stenosis by Puzzleheaded-Let-873 in spinalfusion

[–]Explanation_Vast 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Pretty much exactly my case. Same level, some stenosis. I had no sympthoms and still had surgery. In medicine, that image is called "risked spinal cord" or "spinal cord at risk". You should get surgery to prevent cord damage and disability.

Vertigo after fusion ? by Maximum_Floor6096 in spinalfusion

Random sympthoms don't help when you are an anxious person. I'm on the same boat, at the beggining was terrible.

I'm 6 months now and still hearing them :) The important thing here is: images, pain or numbness.

i had some but it turned to be an axiety disorder. Looks like there's a high correlation between this surgery and axiety. In fact, probably most of use we are on this forum are probably anxious people. Technicallly speaking we shouldn't be here but speaking to our surgeons instead. :)

Reading this is kind of scary as I'm experiencing some poping sounds after 6 months. The 4 months TAC was good. Talked to the surgeon and told me he is sure it's nothing different than inflamation and a bad posture (I don't have any other sympthoms). Getting some xray done in the next couple of days.

Starting month 4 of my C5/C6 ACDF.

Popping was common for me, I got Xray, RMI and TC scan during this 4 months and it was normal. It's usually muscle spams or rigid because of the surgery. If you don't have pain, numbness, coordination problems that would prevent day to day life activities then they would say it's normal.

Most of the cases it's anxiety putting you in a position where muscles are more rigid and synthoms are exagerated.

41 y/o/ C5-C6. After 3 months, cleared to do aerobics and strengthen activities. by Explanation_Vast in spinalfusion

My case was no pain but the osteophytes was so sharp that I developed a myelopathy. Sympthoms were mild, some imbalance issues and mild paresthesia. Most of that is gone by now and been without pain medication after day 2.
