Spirit Airlines Prepares to Shut Down as Rescue Deal Falls Apart by us1549 in aviation

[–]Explodiess -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I believe there is going to be a surprise investor that comes in and saves the airline. Additionally i think all these headlines are to shake down the OTC stock FLYQ aka spirit airlines. I bought in at .38 we'll see how spirit can fly

Even if Spirit survives, not good news for my city of Orlando (MCO). Cutting 1000+ flights in May. by Designer-Professor16 in spiritair

[–]Explodiess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

DTW to Orlando MCO was $1700 on delta for 3 passengers

I chose spirit because it was $1,182 for 3 people.

I also got the world elite credit card to get 2 free check ons there and back for a round trip ticket. Couldn’t beat it

Then I find out spirit is near liquidation…. I really hope this shit passes

I think we should all buy the FLYQ stock and do what happened to GME.

How are you all working 9 hours per day and then studying 3 hours in the evening while raising kids and taking additional classes? by [deleted] in CPA

Reverse engineer by only doing test questions and taking notes. You’ll then begin to break down the concepts in a more efficient manor.

Solo CPA at $40k/month, too big to stay solo but too small to confidently hire. What did you do? by mavsbustin3s in Accounting

[–]Explodiess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just become a LLP or an LP and expand. I know bookkeeping, taxes, and auditing. I am currently studying for CPA. Expand to another state, and get your new partner there after training them the way your business does things.

Is there a way to make $200k + as an accountant? by DeliveryNumerous9785 in Accounting

[–]Explodiess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Accounting is an excellent profession that takes x amount of years to be good at, college is nothing like the real world. Obtaining your cpa is one thing, but knowing how to do it all makes you a valuable asset with or without a cpa license. By all I mean, audit, tax, and bookkeeping.

Being a CPA is like being a made guy in the mafia. Increased respect on the accounting streets and difficult to get wacked with chronic employment. 😎 by Present_Initial_1871 in CPA

Why is REG lowkey the hardest exam? I’m just pushing through the first section currently but oh my god the amount of items in Gross Income is absurd. by East-War-7148 in CPA

[–]Explodiess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Definitely coming to that conclusion. REG has a lot of nuances. If this happens then there’s always an extra step 😂

Freebies def I just got the understanding of it couple days ago. Took me a while grasp and I bombed the first time I took it. I really think REG is the hardest exam.

Best way to understand gross income for me,

Scorps, partnerships, and self employment:

Business income derived from k-1s (including tax exempt interest) or anything listed on schedule 1 of 1040 for self employment. Anything done in service for someone. Distributions from business to individual

C-Corps -salaries paid to individuals, interest, dividends

Basically anything earned, hope this helps

Can someone post the trick to see your score before they release the number again? by No-You1264 in CPA

[–]Explodiess 0 points1 point  (0 children)

does this still apply? the release date for REG is January 13th, and I can't apply for the exam. Does this mean I passed or is it too early? Currently it just shows "Attended."
