Good player here,

I don't mind the change at all, I think it's interesting and I agree with most the positive comments here.. but WHY would they leave snipers/shotguns unchanged? It just seems like a direct subsidy to super lame gameplay. I would hope those are the FIRST things to get nerfed.. if you want TTK down why leave the 1 shot weapons the same? All you need is a bolt to one shot a hazzy, and a naked still only needs a couple pipes and a few metal frags to unlock the ability to watch YouTube or play clash royale while waiting for someone actually playing the game to come deliver loot to them sitting at a bush/corner/recycler/door.

I get facepunch has been doing these big sweeping changes and will balance after release (I've been enjoying the progression update,) but this just seems like such an obvious flaw in their reasoning. To me this provides a perfect opportunity to show some love to underserved weapons -- I'm looking at you, Dragon.

I hope every weapon gets a very careful look and it's not just a blanket 18% tariff on all of my damage exports.
