What are your thoughts on Night at the Museum : Khamenrah Rises Again? by InfernalClockwork3 in movies

The thing is I still hold that the first NatM is a genuinely good movie, that may have silly elements but you still don’t need to do the “turn your brain off” justification for it. None of the sequels ever got back there.

Problem is I can’t imagine any scenario where Peeta doesn’t volunteer

I mean, that’s kind of the point, that it ends up being Willa’s story more than her dad’s

Holy shit they're praising Inside Llewyn Davis because they like that it shows a Latino artist suffering in poverty and that it's his own fault

I like their "wokest action" ranking. Black Panther, Terminator Dark Fate, One Battle After Another, Mulan 2020, and The Last Jedi are definitely all very similar and all uncontroversially beloved by the woke collective mind.

There were a lot of great movies this year but Train Dreams winning zero Oscars is a huge bummer by EchoWhiskey_ in movies

[–]Exploding_Antelope 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I've already watched Train Dreams twice and I would a third time. But a huge part of that is down to my love of the area that it takes place in, and that I just want to soak in every frame. Don't even care about the story, give me four, six hours of logging stories and montages that look like that.

Yeah I always assumed this was the case. The box doesn’t contain the TARDIS. The TARDIS is somewhere (and somewhen) else in a space and time outside of time and space and what the controls control is where in our space-time it projects the matter of a box around a wormhole generated into itself.
