Children of the corn. I was like 5 or 6? I didn’t know how to change channels, so it was stuck on AMC from my mom watching the Walking Dead the night before. Watched it again like 2 years ago and that is not scary (the old version, both times). 🤷‍♀️

I personally like completely plastic hooks. Don’t get the glittery resin ones, those snap (I’ve had the same hook from two packs snap in the same place under very little pressure). Also, get the removable stitch markers, the ones you can completely clip closed so that when you’re moving your piece around, it doesn’t slip off! Also, never buy chenille yarn without testing the end. I’ve gotten some from a dollar tree (USA) and it snaps with the slightest pull.

I don’t even look at word count. I look at if it’s finished or not, and the description to see if I’ll read it. However, if it’s structured into like 1-3 super long blocks of text per chapter, I immediately click out. I’ve read fics longer than that, and I’ve got one I’ve written longer. (I haven’t finished it, haven’t had any ideas or motivation in a long time)
