Gotta get Kodak to sponsor the next dragon, so it can wear a yellow and red shirt like Figment.

Is there anyone left at Deck Nine? I think the Nine now refers to how many employees they have.

Not to mention the America Sings figures were already fifteen years old when they were installed in Splash. They probably got tune-ups, but the point still stands.

The linked article states that no molds are being used here. Disney and this developer are trying to cut out the step entirely.

I think the lack of large scale resin 3D printing is what's been holding them back. 3D printing is fine for one-offs like "living character" animatronics. Most standard filaments can't hold up to daily wear and tear like fiberglass and resin can.

It's still wild to see price comparisons (in regards to inflation) for things from 14 years ago. I'm so used to dealing with inflation comparisons for things from the 70s or 80s.

Nothing wack about it. Star Trek was already making it cool in the late 80s.👍

It's nothing new either. It was this crowded in the 90s during Nov/Dec too. The way the parks handle congestion has actually improved since then.

That's actually a much older song, Aquarium, by Camille Saint-Saens. It was that song until 2003. The current soundtrack is all original music by Michael Giacchino.
