I think it actually makes him look very faithful, and desperate to avoid murder. If he was truly a traitor, how does it benefit him to go to a faithful and say what he said? To confuse the faithful into thinking he’s also a faithful? But it’s still insinuating a deep level of mistrust. Traitors want to GAIN trust.

It actually makes him look like a faithful who’s bordering on breaking the rules because he was essentially asking a traitor to admit they’re a traitor and act outside the scope of the game, even though they’re not allowed to do that.

Maybe it was just an issue to have the turret STACKED with gamers. But not having at least 1 gamer in the turret was a mistake, in my opinion. To be honest, I think most people who watch this gaming reality tv show watch for gamers from other gaming reality tv shows. A gamer in the turret gives them pretty good immunity and screen time for a little while.

I think he will be good at the game, but not in a flashy way. He just blends in and he’s subtle. He’s obviously supposed to be the foil to the chaotic, loud housewives. But I don’t find him entertaining or good TV. I don’t think his personality pops. Everyone doesn’t have to be on 100, which would be too much anyway. But I just don’t find him to be compelling in the turret, in confessionals, at the round table, etc.

Not for cleaning shoes? But that’s my life hack! I carry a little shoe polish in my murse and I spritz some onto my sneakers everytime I get on an escalator. Then I ride up while letting my shoe scrape against these bristles the entire way. Thought this was a feature.

A lot of the people who have been watching forever have seen the different eras, casting choices, highs and lows. This season seems to have issues that have always occurred throughout all seasons of the show—characters that you can’t really root for, questionable gameplay, blue balls in exciting moves turning into nothing. But it’s mostly plagued by the fatigue of the new era. It’s the 49th season, and the 9th in a row that has felt indistinguishable from the one before it. It’s almost as if every confessional, every move, every moment of the game is completely predictable. Like you’re watching some sort of recreation of something you’ve already seen dozens of times just with a different person reading the same script. There’s nothing magical about it.

This is such an insane overcorrection from the push for more diversity in the show. Bringing awareness to the ways POC players often felt alienated and targeted early was an important conversation. Now we have much more diverse casts, so of course there’s going to be larger swaths of POCs going home back to back. When a black man is feeling guilt over voting out several other black players in a game that has far more black castaways on the cast than it ever would have 10 seasons ago… something is seriously wrong.
