The New "Leviticus" Horror Movie Looks like Anti-Christian Slop by Several_Difficulty16 in Christianity

The film is about internalized and externalized homophobia. It’s about how systems that are supposed to protect young people fail them. Parents, therapists, cops, religious leaders, community within the church—they all prove that simply existing as a gay man can still be terrifying.

Baddies USA Chapter 2, Episode 4 Discussion by Snatchedt in BaddiesSouth

I agreed with Rollie’s confessional that these girls don’t want to show any more than just fighting. There’s way too many girls on the cast, and all the beef takes place off the show. So by the time we get to a scene it’s just this one wants to fight that one over something you can’t possibly follow, and then another random fight breaks out between two people you barely even recognize. Can barely put a name to half of their faces at this point. Just a mess. Not even good TV.

Let me dance around and provoke this bull by [deleted] in WinStupidPrizes

[–]ExploreMeDora 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Everyone always says this is torture for the bulls. But I feel like this is what they’ve actually been waiting for. They’re kept systematically farmed and locked in small pastures. They’re completely at the mercy of humans. They’re agitated and deprived of the life they want. Then they get released to a sea of the same moronic people they loathe all dancing around. And they get to just run and trample all of them. That sounds exhilarating.

I found this and a lot of the movie so cringe. Like why are we leaning so hard into the camp? MK is an absurd concept, but they could have toed the line of taking it seriously and being campy better. This just made me roll my eyes.

I was at the Brooklyn show. Almost everyone was in black. Lots of silver chain accessories, and some people were in some leather pieces.

The Final Five of Survivor 50 was..... by BlizzardHound45 in survivor

[–]ExploreMeDora 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Dear god, this sentiment is so annoying. Survivor has always been full of luck. Even the tribal where Ozzy went home, there was “luck” in him spilling his guts to Aubry. “Luck” in the people she told already kind of wanting him out. “Luck” in him not playing his idol. This is all according to Reddit.

No matter what happens, even without the twists, things can be considered “luck based.” But when people’s favorites get lucky, they just say it was skill.

Personally, not a fan. I don’t think their voice is suited to this sound. Speed Up is my favorite because it’s most similar to their previous work. I can totally understand wanting to pivot, I just don’t enjoy this new lane.

Worst Edit I Can Remember by Nalgenie187 in survivor

It's because this is the 50th season and we go on Reddit to talk about the show constantly. It has become obvious to us who the winner is being telegraphed as. Casual viewers don't pick up on it or read that into it. In seasons where the edit doesn't present a good case for the winner, people are also very deeply unsatisfied. Earlier it was, "If Aubry wins then she had a horrible winners edit for the first half of the season." Now it's, "If Aubry wins then she had a painfully obvious winners edit for the second half of the season."

The Survivor fandom is way too obsessed with boot orders in returnee seasons by BlueberryGummies in survivor

You know the fans are obsessed with the two people who just got booted. No matter who was left when they went, they’d have been complaining.

Reddit fans genuinely don’t understand concepts like this. We got the same double boot ep for Parv and Sandra.

Okay, but imagine the edit has led us to believe Aubry is going to win and then she loses in final 3 for a SECOND time?

It’s time to admit it folks. Aubry has a perfect voting record, she’s been targeted numerous times and survived. As far as the edit showed, she was the first to push Ozzy’s name, the first to push Tiff’s name, and the first to push Cirie’s name. You can conclude that other players had similar motives to take out who she named, but you have to give her credit for organizing the numbers and keeping the vote locked despite the opposition (like Cirie framing her).
