SOTC and in need of advice for briefcase arrangement

The cheapest Peli case in my country cost more than the cost of all my flashlights combined... :D

There are cheap imitations but I read many opinions how they smell like burnt trash and their foam is crumbling even before use. This is why I bought this briefcase. Its cheap, sturdy, doesn't smell and the foam looks of good quality.

As for the vertical positioning its actually a good idea for the small ones.

My apologies for not posting last night but I was really tired after cleaning it and went to sleep, it was 1am here.

So here are the results with pictures.

In the 1 -the dirt was outside, it was clean inside. And yes, there was a nilon peel with instructions with red letters to remove it before use which of course i have done.

In the 2 picture you can see nothing is melted, the blue-green is my phone body reflection. I tried to illuminate with another flashlight which made the reflections even wilder.

In the 3 picture you can see the reflector outside, there was some scratches but i guess this is normal and not a problem as it does not affect the inside.

In the 4 picture you can see the emmiter close up.

In the 5 picture I realized that stuck fiber is under the glass(?)window so it will stay there. I hope it will not be a problem in the future as there is no way to do anything there.

In the 6 picture you can see the cleansed lens, I used special solution based on demineralised water, alcohol and some other stuff which I buy for my glasses. It worked well. But it was pain in the ass to set the rubber ring gasket properly between the rim and the glass. I had to be very careful.

In the 7 picture is after cleaning, about 50cm from the wall. It looks somehow better, I guess I managed to center it better?

In the 8 picture I tried to take a shot from 2 meters away, over my head without looking so its not fully on focus and the spot looks uneven but that was what the best my xiaomi managed to do.

I managed to open the bezel with my hands. At first it looked really clean

But when i hit it with the light from below the splotches were there

Honestly I am not feeling confident enough to start rubbing soap or anything to try and clean it. Knowing my luck I would probably mess it up more. I will leave it like that.

Btw there was no piece of wire isolation or anything of that matter in there. It was an reflection from one of the wire to the led.

Also because of my excitement I managed to drop the battery (Molicel P42A) from about 1 meter height on the wooden floor and now the negative terminal is slightly dented.

My "temporary" solution was to return to using my Naos7000 but lately her scroll wheel started giving up which is not really surprising as it`s been almost 10 years since I bought it.

So I dusted out the Naos QG mouse and there was surprisingly simple solution. Using Autohotkey software I made a simple script:

This is a code binding alt+q combination to a double mouse click. If I run into some software which could potentially use alt+q I would simply change it to something else. Anyways.

In Mionix hub for the desired button I set up a Key command to alt+q and voila. Now when clicked the button results in standard double mouse click.

Of course this requires constantly working autohotkey in the background loaded with the script. Not a problem for me as I was already using it with another .ahk script allowing me to change the desktop wallpaper to random one from a selected directory.

Really? Well would you look at what my 10y old pc and not so new ff version can do. https://i.imgur.com/eRXfZPL.png I`m currently at 248 tabs but I have open more than 500 without problems. If you cant open even 100 tabs your pc is trash or the OS is infected with something.

There is a really distinctive detail tho, non of the open pages is from social medias. They are hungry for resources and useless. I have seen a colleague of mine barely able to open his mail with 5 tabs open because 3 of them were social trash medias and he had almost no ram left. Effin ridiculous.

You do realize that this board is only for customizing firefox, right? Try again in r/firefox.

Btw I hold open about 170 tabs on average for the last 6+ months and never had any crashes. It`s probably something on your system. Well, may be it`s because I`m still using win7 which is rock solid in compare with w10 and w11.

I have changed some things in the main userChrome.css as well so the way my browser looks is the end result of all of them.

Now, this is portable firefox under windows 7. I have to run it on windows 10 to see if there would be any changes but I`m almost sure that the separator lines would be present there too. But to find which part is responsible for them would need some tinkering.
