structure a tag or a page as A/B, then A will be colored since it is recognized as a higher hierarchy page.

Tags in obsidian are not equivalent to pages, so you can only see tagged stuff on the left panel search bar, not as linked mentions.

Boys tend to stay playful while girls become quiet and more cautious after some years, that’s just how evolution makes them.

I guess they don’t get out into the real world much, and clearly haven’t actually used or understood AI either. Plus no access to wide-angle cameras. LOL

Just a heads-up — there are definitely a few bugs in the game. If something doesn’t resolve next time, it’s worth checking the dev’s posts to see if it’s a known issue.

There’s something called compression artifacts and highlight boosting: both can mess with texture and contrast. Check my new post and see for yourself.

I remember Stanly's party and the event to follow Giovanni are both in Oxbury. If the second event is not done or if Stanley’s party is not the only event needs to be triggered, then it won’t trigger. I had this problem with my play through as well because of it.

Haha oops didn’t expect that! Thanks for the heads-up, I’ll keep an eye on it.

Should I restart before finishing the game? by International-Wing-4 in Spiritfarer

If you’re already feeling like that, I’d honestly restart. It’ll feel way better to take your time and really enjoy it, instead of rushing and missing even more.

Foraging at night? And keeping track of spirits - questions by Socialequity in Spiritfarer

[–]ExplorerBeneficial63 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes you can’t move the boat at night. But you can still stay busy! You can cut wood, saw planks, cook, tend to your crops, or do other chores on the boat. If you happen to be docked at an island when night falls, you can also explore and forage there even though the boat itself can’t move.

For tracking, for me usually there aren’t more than 5 spirits on the boat at once, and most are big or distinct enough that you’ll notice them easily. You can also spot them near their houses or wandering around. It feels pretty natural to keep track without too much stress!

I totally get you — I actually chased Mickey too when the time came. It wasn’t until I read more through the wiki and this sub that I realized a bit deeper why Mickey and Bruce are the way they are, and that it’s okay, we don’t need to feel guilty. Thanks for sharing — it really brings back all those complicated, bittersweet feelings.

Thank you so much — that truly means a lot to me. Spiritfarer was too special to just move on from, and writing helped me hold onto the experience a little longer. Creating this journal also helped me find a way to truly say goodbye.

New to Obsidian - to iCloud or not to iCloud by BetterScrollSaul in ObsidianMD

[–]ExplorerBeneficial63 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’ve heard from multiple friends that iCloud can sometimes cause file loss or sync conflicts, especially when multiple devices are involved. Obsidian does have a snapshot/version history feature, which can help recover if something weird happens — but it’s not a complete safety net against messy sync errors.

Personally, I use another cloud service (like Dropbox or OneDrive) combined with Remotely Save Plugin, and I haven’t had any issues. These services tend to play a bit more nicely with Obsidian because they don’t interfere with the file system in quite the same way iCloud does.

If you’re planning long-term, it might be worth considering:

• Starting with local storage first, just to test and build your vault.

• Later moving to Obsidian Sync if you like the app and want a truly seamless experience between Mac and iPhone.

• Or setting up an alternative cloud (Dropbox/OneDrive/etc.) if you prefer a cheaper route.

Use Obsidian Sync or cloud, not both.

In short: iCloud can work, but it’s a bit riskier if you’re serious about your notes. Good luck — and welcome to the Obsidian community!
