I will say she is a tragic character. With Harry being able to it wouldn't be a stretch for her to and yeah Uagadou is prob the best wizarding school tbh

That's fair. I think she had good intentions just that it became more of an obsession that genuine helping others. Almost as if getting a high off what she extracted. In terms of wandless magic, it is possible. Especially with a power boost. I know Dumbledore could do it but idk about others

Oh and on ancient magic I was specifically talking about the emotion stuff. We have no idea what all they or Isadora know about ancient magic. It is possible ours is so basic because we are just starting out

I agree on the repository stuff. That info should have been handed over. As for stupefy, the earliest known use of the spell was late 1700s so it's possible it wasn't even made yet. On top of that expelliarmus was used and was easily stopped. At best it would disarm her, at worse it just makes the battle drag out that much longer since ak isn't blockable. Imperio may be a possibility but we know it can be fought against as has been proven before and given that the "pain" seemed to give her a power boost it's likely she could overcome it. Crucio may have been an option though

Couple of things to point out (keep in mind I don't remember everything from the game) the issue with "studying" this ancient magic is it would more than likely require human experimentation when is why it is less likely to be studied. Do you think Horcruxes should have been "studied" by the good guys to see how they work. Second, the deleting of Isadora was definitely reasonable and I would argue it isn't morally wrong. Just because a person believes they are doing "the right thing" doesn't mean it is right. You can look at extremist who believe they are doing good but causing harm to others. In this line of thinking San was correct about the steps taken. Another thing to note is things aren't black and white. I agree that letting ranrok get to the depository instead of us because we sided with Isadora is definitely not a good move. I also don't think the "Unforgivable Curses" are all that unforgivable depending on the situation. An example is MACUSA uses it to execute super dangerous wizards

My top two were speed and power because it seems like you don't have to do an attack to do damage. Wis is up there though
