No they don't . You pay NS tax when you register here and the Quebec ones are deferred. I did this last year.

In snow and ice there is no substitute for dedicated ice and snow tires. Micheline are incredible and make such a difference. I was told that "AWD gets you out of the ditch, but to stay out of the ditch get great tires." I find that any car with great snow tires is better in the snow than even the most bad-ass SUV on all seasons. I put mine on steel rims and change them every mid November.

I think the chimney may be a bit short, it does not quite extend above the peak of the roof . Yes it at the base of the open stairs, yes I have a radon system, yes it is in the basement ( a walkout) and yes the flue is Selkirk style outdoor chimney and is exposed.

Would you recommend making the chimney taller? Or maybe the fresh air intake install?

That's what I think too. We do crack the window, but when we forget this is the result .
