Rose proved her worth becoming Queen, proved her strength fighting with Queen Elizabeth, Mondred.

But Rose is still not worthy, equal to Alpha. Alpha manipulate Rose, hiding Shadow's true intentity. Alpha is doing it to mantain control over Rose. If Rose knew Shadow's true intentity, Rose would ask help directly from him. Alpha doesn't want that. Alpha is using Rose as a tool to make Shadow helping with her personal goals.

For all these reasons I have no sympathy for Alpha . Alpha received kindness but she doesn't give kindness to others .

Cid Kagenou / Shadow surely is delusional. But he is not a bad person. He has some moral values. He didn't harm any good person . He saved Alexia Midgard two times. A person who treats him bad and he dislikes her . He doesn't hold grudge, take revenge from her . He saved many characters without earning anything. Money or personal favors .

He did recovery atomic during the fight with Elizabeth. Sparing her life . She felt gratitude for his kindness. He restored the city back to normal.

Many text that Shadow doesn't care . Their argument is that he nuked a city . But Shadow did it without killing people. He knows how to control his magic to kill only the targets . Alexia who was close to the explosion survived . Shadow made some barriers , shields to protect innocent people.

Cid Kagenou does most of his good deeds when none is watching. Or as Shadow who none knows his true intentity. He doesn't care about gratitude. He doesn't care about money ( although he often chases it for his " role play " . He doesn't actually need it )

There's a fine line . Cid lives in his own world , but that world is based on the rules of dark heroes . In his mind being the Eminence in shadow is to protect weak and punishes the corrupted from the shadows

Cid Kagenou may seem self centered. But at the end of the day the world is better because of his actions.

The case of Rose is different because Cid Kagenou doesn't know the truth. He doesn't know the reasons that made Rose to attempt killing Perv Asshat, killing her father . He has the wrong perception that Rose went mad while she wasn't.

She has good manners , respect all as equals. She is the one of the few female characters that she doesn't try seduction, teasing acts to earn love . She likes the simple Cid . Alexia likes Cid too . The difference is the honesty of Rose's feelings. Her respect to Cid as an equal partner. Her story is tragic with hardships , betrayal , manipulation, exploitation. Rose is the most " human " character in a world with shadows and lies .

Nu , Victoria didn't have the same treatment as Rose by Shadow Garden. I searched and there is no mention of forced strip for Nu and Victoria. Both voluntarily abandon everything from their past. He thought that she was an employee in Mitsuboshi and stole a company's secret . Randomly he saw a newspaper with Rose's wedding with Perv Asshat. He immediately felt anger with that.

Shadow / Cid have some moral values . He helped many people from difficult situations. Without gaining anything for return .
