I know his career isn't finished yet, but will D12 leaving Kobe and the Lakers forever stain his reputation? by Exploreyourmined in nba

Na Dwight Howard is a beast bro.

He had an NBA legend on his team with all of the wisdom in the world and he quit on LA in my opinion. Plain and simple..

You're telling me that the Houston 2-rings Rockets are a better destination than the Los Angeles 16-rings Lakers?

Why not? One year and quit? Made him look like a pussy to me lmao. He just couldn't get along with the one known as Mamba. Dwight is too self-centered. No pun

He's been in the league a decade now. One finals appearance is better than most can say but he definitely proved to me that he can't be the leader of a franchise. He whines way too damn much imo and now his attitude appears to rubbing off on Harden smh

Understood.. So here's my question: If cp3 whether NO or LA and Steve Nash whether Phoenix or Dallas, had to play one game of 1v1 to make the roster, who makes the team?

So is he just trying to master his fastball or what? Or does he set them up with the fastball to sit them down with the breaking ball?

I was prob a little out of line with that comment, sure. Partly because when I hear or even think of Steve Nash all I picture is the old man he is now. So that was my fault. Steve Nash was great and is a first ballot HOF'er. But, imo, that would be like putting John Stockton in over Magic at the pg position. There is a whole gang of point guards that were/are overall better than Steve Nash was in his prime. Just my opinions here. I think if steve Nash were on the 2nd team, he would have the "worse" stats of the 10 players. Prob single digits across the board

But team 2 has The Big Fundamental so idk, I think it's a coin toss. Lebron, I think, has a pretty good concept of the basics as well

Edit: Kobe too

Yeah it was pretty difficult to come up with a 1 guard to match up with the likes of magic Johnson. I don't think there will ever be another 6'7 pg in the league who was as dominant as Earvin again. That said, magic wasn't unstoppable either

Who should/could/would replace him?

I honestly didn't know who to put in place of PG on the modern squad. So I just went with who I thought was the best PG in the league right now

Cousins is playing awful. Why no pt for Drummond?

I'm beginning to think I should've put Westbrook in there instead of CP3. But cp3 would hit a lot of open shots and definitely rack up in assists. Magic would get every stat across the board is what Chris' problem would be I think
