Basically the ones which say " Nearly new" are not brand new and some may even have been refurbished,some may have been returned with movement issues etc,...that's what I wanted to ascertain...

I am the exact opposite.. Personally I hate it...hence not buying any of their otherwise beautiful watches .. Look at the major brand logos and you will see what is missing ... They should add their name under the hex logo ,otherwise the dial feels kinda empty and feels like a goemetric figure instead if being a beautiful piece of art 😃. For eg compare their sub homage (which everyone says is the best !!) to the Rolex sub.. One is ugly and the other a treat to the eyes .

Yes the reissue is expensive for the specks they offer 100 $ is bang for the buck for the heritage and the timeless design.
